Trollyes are friggin' slow, and they always have a flat surface on either side of the tracks (the road), unlike a train that might be going pretty fucking fast and ride on rails laying on a ridge where the train could roll down from if derailed. You just need to pop it off its tracks and thus breaking the connection to the power source up above, and it won't be going anywhere. The breaks, like on a train, works on the wheels, so even if you aren't on a track with a trolley, you can still break..

And again, the velocity trolleys move with, isn't high enough to kill ordinary people in a crash, it would be something out of the ordinary.

The number of people on the trolley isn't important, as derailing one of those doesn't result in a major catastrophe (again, low speed, low weight, and nowhere to roll), and no tipping over/jack knifing/piling up as they're extremely short compared to a train. To be honest I'd say that dealing would probably be the safest course of action, compared to letting it go down either track with someone tied to them.

I was being sarcastic at the fact that he's belittling people for being shorter, and I'm slightly taller.
But I forgot people don't understand sarcasm.
Oh well.

Ha, well sometimes it can be fairly difficult to determine if people are serious or trying to joke around.

I too am in college, struggling to use facts I learn. Half the time someone will make a semi-coherent argument IRL and I won't have enough to ruin their shit, so I retreat to online shit-ruining safety where I can hit people with Bibme like its my full time job, then it's back to the rice fields with more college just to get fucked in IRL arguments again.

It's getting better though. Hanging out with my Captain helps me trump people in arguments, because he'll straight up stop listening if you're taking too long to say anything at all.

What a wonderful man.

Well don't worry, if you look hard enough I'm sure you can find somewhere to put that knowledge to use. I've seen plenty of discussions about race and shit before.
