Very similar, not so much taste wise but in how it is made, the taste is sweeter and quite smooth in comparison to coffee, though.

jokes aside, It's common here, our tea is sugary and milky but it's not uncommon for people to have tea without one or the other, or even both, I'm not quite sure what our tea is, i'm sure people will tell you it's earl gray but it isn't, gray is made with orange rind and is generally... orange, our tea is black to begin with and turns to a pale brown ( it may vary on how much milk and how long you let the tea bag sit ). I would like to know what our tea actually is, although we refer to it as just "tea".
