Yeah but this is Tutankhamun who ruled 1100 years before the Ptolemaic Dynasty. In any case, modern Egyptians are quite different from Ancient Egyptians physiologically. Ancient Egyptians were emphatically African - not as dark as more Southern populations, but definitely different from other Middle Eastern populations,

From available photographs of the time, she looked almost exactly like Elizabeth Taylor. But was a bit heavier in the ribs and hips areas.

T he blade is a knife because the German public wasnt allowed to carry swords so they made this long ass knife. I love history its fucking hilarious

Implying the city watch werent going to classify a long ass knife as a slightly curved sword and wouldnt take it away anyways.

I mean cmon, imagine yourself trying to tell them: But this is a knife! Look at the shape of the blade! And the guard will be like: A knife with a blade lenght of over 100 cm? Yeah right buddy...

Dude, do you think medieval armsman is not going to recognize a sword just because the shape is slightly different?

I mean take look at falchion. ¨But guys this is just an oversided machete for cutting up foliage and wood I sware on me mum!¨

Dude it is a fact that peasants could carry this but not a sword. I dont know what you are trying to prove?
#176 - nightmarexnxnxnxnx (08/16/2015) [-]
That no matter what shape it has it still has blade lenght of over 40 cm and thus classifies as a sword?

Who in the hell would be stupid enough to actually take ¨but this is a knife¨ argument at face value?

Except that there were close knit rules what weaponry could citizentry carry. In medieval times citizens were limited to blades that did not exceed 40cm in lenght, in other words daggers and knives for self defense.

i mean yeah that is the literal translation. i was just giving a general historical guide to classifying bladed weapons. the Germans also had a wide bladed short sword called a Grossemesser that is pretty bad ass if you look it up

I am a man.

I'm 6'3, 240lbs and I hit the gym like admin made me do it. guess what, that doesn't make me stronger emotionally than a women.

if you actually knew the history of women in war you would know they are every bit as strong as a man and in many cases more so.

dude i got two sisters. if we are just comparing emotional strength they could kick my ass. i completely respect what you are saying. i didn't want to come across as degrading the contributions of women in war.

Emotional strength doesn't carry 150 pounds of gear.
