true, but when making a pvp character you would aim for a specific souls memory which meant you would only collect the souls needed to get you where you wanted to be, when you wanted to level up your equipment you would need to collect the souls required to do that so it would indirectly factor in.

Did Dark SOuls 2 factor in equipment level? I think 1 did, and I know 3 did, but I don't recall if 2 did.

And yeah, I definitely liked it better than 1. Don't have to stop levelling or risk never finding any summons. Sill had problems, though.

DS1 only factored in player level not the equipment level, DS 3 was directly connected to equipment level, DS 2 was indirect s the souls needed to upgrade equipment were factored into the soul memory so it didnt go directly on equipment level, but as you upgraded equipment your soul memory would go up si it technically did, which also meant it factored in consumables you purchase which could be good and bad i suppose.

i think i liked 3's system the most, though i wish equipment put into your bonfire box wouldn't count towards your cap, but 2 was by far better than 1's system, and i've found most people who complain about it either follow the crowd and can't actually give a reason it is definitively worse, or are the people who would run through the game as SL 1, max their gear out then invade low levels in the beginning of DS 1.

Not trolling, just venting frustration from all the borderline incel posts. I'd argue that books do have some measurable quality to them, your given example of Twilight is objectively of lower quality than something like To Kill a Mockingbird. Both are written by women, yet the latter is acclaimed by American intellectuals while the former is abhorred by everyone who isn't a teenage girl. See >19, some women reading or writing poor literature does not mean they are destroying the medium.

I can't speak for comics because I don't read them, but isn't that a problem of 1. People inserting their ideology into them and 2. You disagreeing with the ideology? To blame women as a whole for just reading comics or being among those writing them is a stretch

In my experience it's a very vocal minority best ignored. they tend to implode on themselves with their own poor rhetorics. My sister is the stereotypical hardcore feminazi and i usually just pretend to be interested and ask how she feels about things when you twist her scenarios around and then she usually end up digging her own grave

Unfortunately the ones here get their way more often than not, last year they took it to the extreme about womens bodies belonging to them www.today.com/parents/drinking-when-p... basically made it illegal to refuse to serve pregnant women alcohol because they own their own bodies, despite the proven downsides to a fetus receiving a brewsky

I do tend to just ignore the stuff for the most part, move on and put it in the back of my head, only really decided to start this conversation on a whim lol

Yeah okay, i can understand your opinion from that point of view. My bad for making assumptions as well. That's awful to be honest. In Denmark we tend to focus a lot more on the individual than genders, for the time being at least. It seems feminists want special treatment even here where it's pretty damn equal - can't talk on behalf of America ofc
