I came into it with low expectations, and the movie surpassed them.

Well, I weigh 282 lbs. The goal i would like to reach is not having man boobs pretty much, and another goal is reducing the size of my hips, basically I'm a guy and its embarrassing to be overweight, and I've decided I need to put the work in and become a healthier person but I don't know what work to do exactly, see my problem?

Actually, I'm going to buy a gym membership within the next month, so thats a really big plus for me in life. One thing is though that I don't have any idea on what to do, like excersising is very weird to me because I don't know what I should be doing and how long and how often, I'd like it if you could PM me and help me get started,

I just recently started working out (about 2 months ago) and it was difficult to begin with at first. I found that working out with friends for the first few weeks helps you get into that routine and once you get used to it then you can start working out alone.

I also found that reading maybe a few inspirational quotes can help boost your morale and gets you pumped up.

Try to have a realistic goal/image in your mind to strive towards. Little steps at a time, but you just have to see that idea in your mind and work towards it.

Changing your diet and going to the gym. Your diet is perhaps the most important factor in losing weight because you could go to the gym for hours a day and you'd never lose any weight if you don't keep track of how many calories you take in. You are going to have to study your body a bit at first because you need to figure out how many calories you should eat to safely lose weight. Then you're going to have to start going to the gym. I recommend for starters at least 2-3 days per week of full body workouts with at least 40 minutes of cardio. Keep doing that for a few weeks and then slowly start adding extra days.
