Do you mean "is"?

Wherever the fuck you are that isn't Ala.: -1
Ala: +Still more men on the moon than you.

Lightning bug>Firefly because their flashes are as brief as lightning, while fire lasts longer, tends to burn darker and more orange/red flames.
User avatar #119 - ilovehitler (07/14/2015) [-]
Yeah, they go to the moon because there is no reason to stay in ala
User avatar #71 - kouzan (07/14/2015) [-]
Yes, a typo is a mistake. And the south is usually wrong.
User avatar #80 - frenzyhero (07/14/2015) [-]
That sure is big talk coming from a someone who is wrong.

And didn't put a man on the moon.

As other posters say, they're called lightning bugs all the way from Florida to Pennsylvania. Obviously, you're the minority.
User avatar #131 - cormy (07/14/2015) [-]
Canada here,
I have seen both fireflies and lightning bugs.
As you had said Frenzy, the lightning bug flashes are much faster and don't really glow at all like fireflies do.

Also, I think you misread the conversation with the other dude.
I'm not sure what you think he said was wrong.
User avatar #85 - kouzan (07/14/2015) [-]
Considering I'm American, I know the South is batshit crazy. A civil war because your export was primarily picking cotton and slavery. Florida is badshit crazy, evidence of this is in local newspaper and News report in Frorida.

It was a joke. Get the joke, remove the dick in your ass and kindly thumb me down like I know you will. You're wrong.
User avatar #179 - frenzyhero (07/14/2015) [-]
Hey hey hey, Florida's not really in the South, we don't count them.

i first started with taking a single pill of mucinex when i was sick (60 mg). i noticed it made me feel different than normal, so one day i was curious and took two (120 mg). i liked the way it made me feel. i think if i'd just straight up jumped into the dose i normally do now (180-240 mg) i would feel overwhelmed, but because i did it rather slowly, i felt in control and wasn't afraid of what happened when i was out of it.

i'll take it about once a month. i can sometimes feel tempted to take it earlier because i'll get overwhelmed and just sick of society, and i feel like i can only achieve the distance away from society when i'm on mucinex. i don't feel like i'm dependent on it, but it definitely can give me a little boost, sometimes when it's much needed.

i totally understand about being turned off of a drug from how it makes you feel when you first try it. my first time being high was weird and scary, but i think i need to try it a few more times to get a better idea of what it's like. i think i made the mistake your friend might have made by taking too much without easing into it over time and being suddenly overwhelmed by the sensations

#58 - what did you enjoy about dxm?  [+] (3 new replies) 07/09/2015 on Drug fact comp 3-... +1
User avatar #61 - iamsammich (07/09/2015) [-]
sorry for the long post lol
okay, gotta keep a few things in mind:
- i only do low doses of dxm (most i've ever done was 180 mg or 240 mg)
- i'm tiny (5 foot 2, 106 lb) so it doesn't take much for me to feel it mr krabs
- i do it only once a month or less often, partially because the way i do it would fuck up my kidneys if i did it often

dxm is cheap and easy to get for me. i go to walgreens and buy mucinex dm max strength, and i'll only need 3-4 pills every time in order to have a good time. i'm not about reaching those crazy ass plateaus, because what i've felt so far is intense enough for me, at least until i try and perfect dxm powder extraction.
dxm lasts a long time. if i take it at 3:00, i'll start feeling it at or before 5:00, and i'll be out of it until i decide to go to sleep.
dxm, after it wears off, gives me this fucking amazing feeling i call afterglow. and it'll last for the entire day. the afterglow effect is feeling like you're just so happy, in a relaxed, content sort of way.
dxm gives me closed eye visuals that are cool to look at. occasionally, in dark rooms, they've carried over into me seeing them when i opened my eyes, but that's rare.

as far as the feeling of dxm itself, it's hard to explain. i'm sure i could give you a better answer tomorrow since i'm planning on taking it. i like that it makes time seem to creep by, which gives you more time to lay down and feel what it feels like. for me, the feeling i like most is this feeling of spirituality. it wasn't always there; it gradually shifted from being "woah this feels weird" to "i am aware of my connection to the universe and all living things within it, and that's fucking awesome". dxm awakened the spiritual side of me, and it made me learn to just have joy and interest in life, both when i'm out of it and when i'm not. it's just such a weird sensation to explain; i'll be lying there, and it'll feel like i can somehow almost touch the mysterious force of being alive that connects all life.

tl;dr dxm is cheap, easy, good for spiritual stuff (at least for me), and makes you feel content when you use it and makes you feel even fuckin better the next day

my friend has taken it once and he did not enjoy being that out of it. Just be careful and make sure it has nothing but dxm and no other ingredients. And make sure to be careful about the kidneys and your mental health. It can be very easy to become dependent on it

Hey, i saw in my notifications that you asked me about my opinion on Opera, but the content seems to be gone, so i decided to answer here. However i don't really have an opinion on Opera, because i have never used it and its market share is too low, so we don't support Opera at my job.
#6 to #5 - ihateemo (02/09/2014) [-]
i see well thanks for replying!

Opera really needs to start advertising if they ever want to be competitive with other browsers

By the way, ihateemo too. Just lost a ranked against one. Annoying little cunt.
