Because this is all one giant publicity stunt for him, he doesn't actually want to be president, he's just making himself relevant in the media, that's how he maintains his fortune, by marketing himself. There's also a number of other reasons that we can go into extensively, his character, his career, his policies and vague ideas of what politics is, his idea of boiling down entire difficult and complicated problems that he boils down to bullshit talking points and crude and yes racist phrases that we're just supposed to take seriously. He;s an insult to the very idea of government and statehood, exploiting the whole electoral process for his own personal benefit, not better than the social benefits he claims to hate.
Let me ask you why you think he's a qualified candidate? I'm not a republican, but even if I was I would never even consider voting for a man like Trump.

Actually no, because I would inevitably write paragraphs of long-winded explanation which would be akin to answering in great detail "why shouldn't I consume my own feces".

He is a massively.. goddamn monumentally huge egotist who thinks all of the country's problems can be solved in the exact same "trickle-down" economic ways that have catastrophically failed in the past 2 decades. He is an outright, out of touch, self-absorbed, colossal dumbass when it comes to anything that doesn't involve real estate and corporate HR.

He is everything that is wrong with the GOP's economic plan condensed into one arrogant package, complete with an absolutely unwavering confidence in himself and bad hair.

For fucks sake, his plan to destroy ISIS was to create a mercenary army. A fucking MERCENARY ARMY. And just let it run amok in the Middle East dishing out justice without due process. Some of the biggest and most respected military minds in the world called him out, saying that it was above and beyond the stupidest plan they'd ever heard proposed with such confidence. And he had the fucking nerve to then turn immediately around and start personally attacking the experience and expertise of these people.

He is what a despot looks like before he becomes one. Take a good hard look and take notes; he is the quintessential pre-dictator. ANY and ALL judgements passed upon him are returned not with sane discourse or rational argument, but with direct and personal attacks on the character of the people who questioned his massively moronic statements.

So I answer: why are you are you a moron? Because only a moron would vote for the king, Alpha, and Omega of the morons.

And look at that you've made me write a bunch of fucking paragraphs anyway. Goddammit.

Trump is a business man, people may think he "fell" onto his massive weaLth but the truth is that he worked hard for it. He struggled and he busted his ass to get where he is today, and he knows better than anyone that the government does in-fact come down hard on big business and people who have large incomes. Which is exactly what he is going to change first, since being a businessman HE is his biggest priority.

Being a little guy myself, the higher tax brackets are important because even though they don't account for the majority of tax revenue its still important to highly tax the rich. If Trump gets in office the first thing he will do is push for "lower taxes on working class citizens" and what that means is he is going to cut taxes on anyone making above 400k.

Everything Trump says he is going to twist. If he gets into office he will SUPPORT shipping jobs overseas. Other than the fact that Trump is socially ignorant and downright retarded, all he will most likely be good for is helping out small businesses since he does indeed know that struggle.

So was the US from 2012 until today. He made 4 comebacks while the US still struggle economically.
#57 - jujuface (07/05/2015) [-]
"January 2000: Trump claims he's worth $5 billion. But even his closest associates don't entirely back that up."
"March 2005: Just after the first season of The Apprentice, Forbes put Trump's worth $2.6 billion, ranking him in a 15-way tie for 228th richest person in the world."
"October 2005: Timothy O'Brien's book TrumpNation charges that Trump is worth just $150 million to $250 million. Trump sued for defamation, and lost."
www.thewire.com/politics/2011/04/weve-been-trying-figure-out-how-much-trump-worth-20-years/36908/

I don't know how you came to conclude that trump made 4 comebacks, but it's clear that his financial history has been riddled with pompous lies on his part. He says he looks forward to publicizing the documents required to run for presidency, proving his $7billion net worth. So do I. The dude is a joke

well thats the issue, Only half of the presidents job needs a good buisness mind, the other half needs the president to not be a close minded "not saying all latino men are rapists, but" asshole.

Did you actually listen to the speech, or have you just been watching CNN on repeat?
User avatar #77 - killjoyus (07/05/2015) [-]
i did listen, but implying latino men are rapists because "80% of their women are raped" is pretty fucked.

User avatar #78 - thelastamerican (07/05/2015) [-]
Implying that 80% of the women who illegally immigrate to the states are raped. I'll ask again. Did you listen to the speech? Implying that a large percentage of illegal immigrants are, in fact not good people.

Nowhere did he claim that 80% of Latino men are rapists. The ones coming here illegally seem to be though.
User avatar #80 - killjoyus (07/05/2015) [-]
i did listen to it, and he worded it the way i wrote it in the speech. What he meant by it is different then what he said, and guess what what he said makes him sound like a horrible fucktard
User avatar #81 - thelastamerican (07/05/2015) [-]
You know the sentence he used before that one? And the one before that? And the one he used before that? You're taking a single sentence out of context. It's what he wanted you to do. Now everyone is looking at him, witch is exactly what he wants. In a week, he's going to have another speech and it's going to be very logical and put together. Then, all the people who have been looking at him are going to go, "Shit, he's right." It's an old marketing trick. I'm amazed more people aren't seeing this.
User avatar #83 - killjoyus (07/05/2015) [-]
right, ok sure. But "looking at him" because he made a seemingly racist remark does not mean next speech, which you somehow have already seen and know is immaculate, people will be like "shit hes right"

hell if anything his marketing trick will cost him the win, since now probably no minority will vote for him, except the ones who are heavily republican, and hes all but guaranteed many young voters won't choose him. Because no matter what he says everyones gonna be thinking "didn't this old white asshole call latino men rapists?"
User avatar #84 - thelastamerican (07/05/2015) [-]
This dude shits $100 bills. He knows how to market an idea. In this case, himself. He has a room full of people who do nothing but analyze speeches. You really think this slipped past all of them? You really think he doesn't have a couple aces stuffed up his sleeve? You don't get rich by being stupid.

But hey, I could be wrong. Maybe he decided to stuff a fortune into his campaign because he's bored.
User avatar #85 - killjoyus (07/05/2015) [-]
yeah he does shit $100, but just because he shits hundreds and has a marketing team doesn't mean any of them know the audiences hes cutting out with that "trick" i'd bet any amount of money that his marketing team is a bunch of old white dudes, and stick in their vagina white chicks, who know nothing of the young or minority.
User avatar #87 - thelastamerican (07/05/2015) [-]
Seriously? It's his marketing team's JOB to understand the demographics. All of them. You think the ones who are in charge of knowing how Hispanics will react were out sick that day or something? No. That's not how it works. I don't really care weather you do or do not agree with me, I'm just here to let you know: There are peaces he's not moved yet, and his earlier speech was just an opening move. It gets debate rolling, it pushes out some very tense emotions. Now that everyone is looking he's going to start making more speeches and soaking up the light. Notice, that no one is talking about ANY other candidate.

Hell, the other candidates may be paying him to do this, just so that they don't have to take any huge hits before the field starts to narrow. Clinton probably wouldn't survive the bashing, I know Bush wouldn't.
User avatar #88 - killjoyus (07/05/2015) [-]
To be fair its most likely that him, and most other republican candidates are in the running to make the actual ones look better. That has always been a ploy of the Republican party, thats why they put forth so many candidates.

Still even if his ploy is just to make bush look better he right fucked any chance of him getting the latino or young votes
User avatar #89 - thelastamerican (07/05/2015) [-]
Well, Bush spoke pretty harshly about the whole speech. Mind you, as harshly as a cookie cutter candidate is allowed to speak. Witch is what he is. And both sides do that. Hell, the Democrats use the 3rd party as their dumping ground.
User avatar #96 - killjoyus (07/05/2015) [-]
anyways it doesn't really matter, its gonna get down to Bush V Clinton because fuck looks like history loves repeating
User avatar #98 - thelastamerican (07/05/2015) [-]
I really wish that neither of them had considered running.
User avatar #99 - killjoyus (07/05/2015) [-]
yeah, but honestly i'd rather bush be the candidate the Perry, which as unlikely as it is, could have been.

honestly i think things would be slightly better if winner was President and the looser was VP, if they could get shit done we'd have the "best" of both parties.
User avatar #144 - thelastamerican (07/06/2015) [-]
That's why the constitution calls it that way. It's just one more stupid rule we've just arbitrarily allowed to take hold, and now it's been going on for so long people don't even realize it's actually directly opposed to the constitution.
User avatar #43 - Haruhi (07/05/2015) [-]
His words were taken completely out of context and any smart person should be able to recognize who and what he was talking about
User avatar #44 - killjoyus (07/05/2015) [-]
regardless of what he was trying to say, out nation and everyother one took it as him calling every latino a Rapist. Plus what good can come from that sentence opening thats not a joke?
User avatar #23 - captainprincess (07/05/2015) [-]
That might be part of it's problem
Americans are a nation's people, not a businesses customers
User avatar #24 - Haruhi (07/05/2015) [-]
It's unfortunate but we do not have a nation of the people, for the people and by the people. We havent for years.
User avatar #25 - captainprincess (07/05/2015) [-]
Well pardon me for being so rude but
Thinking of your country as a poorly run business, where poorly run is the problem, might be the reason for that
User avatar #26 - Haruhi (07/05/2015) [-]
Preaching to the choir, buddy
User avatar #27 - captainprincess (07/05/2015) [-]

sorry if it didn't look like it
User avatar #28 - Haruhi (07/05/2015) [-]
I was speaking of the people running it. We need someone better running it. IE, trump
User avatar #33 - captainprincess (07/05/2015) [-]
Not likely to change things for the better really
Putting a more successful version of the problem in charge
User avatar #20 - iamthou (07/05/2015) [-]
I see it as a better option to be honest, yes he was given millions to start with but he turned it into billions, he's a man that has proven he can handle money and where it should go. Plus the fact that he has his own money will help him better choose what laws and programs pass, rather than other politicians who get things passed that better their wallet.

plus imagine how shitty it would be trying to get the cord back in. unless it reeled itself in which case it seems like it would be bad for the cord

that's either a good sign, or a very bad one.

then the fact that they focused on multiplayer is still troubling. it shows that they intended the single player as an afterthought.
and yeah I'm aware of the open world zelda; my comment referenced the fact that they said nothing about it at E3. and that worries me as well.

lack of inclusion doesn't mean exclusion, I'll use tucker max's quote from hilarity ensues "Just because I don't write about my dog getting fed doesn't mean she doesn,t and yes she gets fed twice a day by me" It could be as simple as nintendo saying "We announced and showed a trailer for this game before, let shows people some other stuff we've started on developing"
