Well fuck me sideways. I wake up at 4 to get to work as an engineer at 7, and don't get back home till 7. Make dinner, eat it, spend an hour with my girlfriend, sleep, repeat.

You make your money through MMA, or it just a hobby?
I honestly don't know how people find the time for this kind of stuff when they have a full time a job.

That's awesome, I'm gonna compete in powerlifting next year, and my plans are to shatter the Junior Dutch records in my weight class. Still got about 2 years to add 40kg to my squat and deadlift, so it should be fine. Any tips on competing?
User avatar #95 - hwarangyo (07/14/2012) [-]
Yeah, as it goes. Remember in a competition you will have adrenaline on your side, so while training for one, try to meet them conditions (well as close to as possible) as it can alter, even enhance your lift.
Take resistance bands to the comps too, to warm up with. See people throw a lot of injurys cause of not being warm to resistance.
And get some "icy hot" patches. to keep warm and for after.

I did powerlifting throughout the later years of highschool/college, I am very into plyometrics training now, very explosive. Is better for my MMA stuff. But still do 5x5 training every 8 weeks on a 4 week cycle, to keep above 14 stone 6lbs
