I agree with the bar one, though it's wise to tip well because they usually treat you well. I've got lots of bar tenders who give me way more booze or free drinks because they like me from my first impression.

When I worked at Dominos in the UK it wasn't exactly easy to live on what they paid. I had a 7 mile delivery range, so the furthest you could go was a round trip of 14 miles. For what could be a 14 mile trip they gave us 85p a delivery. Most people that work at Dominos are not exactly driving fuel efficient cars either.

The amount of hours you worked a week were also all over the place, so planning ahead was difficult. You could go in 1 week and have 20 to 30 hours, the next week you could have 4.

I think we did have it better than drivers in the US, but a tip was always a nice thing to recieve. 1 pound extra per delivery went far for us, it would more than likely cover the costs to the car and the petrol.

Well, to be fair delivering pizzas I can make way more money with tips (most nights) than I would on minimum wage. But I'm not at all advocating minimum wage being brought up to 15 bucks. Fuck that bullshit.

I get that, but we do still tip people, my family personally tips delivery drivers, and vast majority will tip waitresses and stuff, but we don't do stuff like tip barmen after every drink, and you're definitely not obligated to tip anywhere.

I just had a quick look, they are made from before and after said time. So my point still stands. If you look at them they span from 2013 to current date so I still have some faith in her for that reason.
