Yep, Europe was totally stagnant for 1000 years.

You took the extreme side of the argument. I never said Europe was stagnant. I'm also not the one who coined the term dark ages. I'm sure if we were to scrutinize medieval arabia that there would be some less desirable history. I was just making the point that historically white people have not always been at the pinnacle of human civilization.

It doesn't have to be one or the other I'm not here to say herpaderp medieval europe sucks, just showing a historical example of culture flourishing in other areas while it wasn't in others in reply to this fellas original comment.

They didn't invent and innovate everything that made the modern world possible. I mean they were totally dark ages, Hollywood and liberal stereotypes should always be observed as if they were doctrine.

Was the biggest stalemate in histry

Um. Medieval Europe is also known as the dark ages because of the lack of social/scientific progress, while Medieval Arabia culturally, scientifically, and aesthetically it was their golden age. There is more to history than just the crusades.

What this is about? You mean a kid that attacked a cop and died? Or is it about something else? Cuz if it is, you're retarded.

Blacks don't freak out about black on black crime. But all hell breaks loose when a cop defends himself against a criminal and the criminal dies, but only if that criminal is black.

I'm sorry for jumping to conclusions. Just seems to me like attacking credibility like this is distracting from the actual issue that I think is here. But thats just my opinion, and the pixels would suggest a few wouldn't agree with me.

Lol except there's barely any writing from the author in there. 90% of the article is the police report. Not sure what your reaction is all about.

He was 18, opportunity missed, he had already transformed into 6'4" 300lb cop beating thug.
This post highlights that people like this produce thugs like brown, statistically. If he had a loving solid family unit statistically he would have been better for it.

Fuck you gladiuss for blocking me.

Drill Sergeants are there to train you and make you hate them. There's a good reason for the second part, but we'll get to that in a second. Essentially they do anything in everything in their (extensive) power to make you hate the very ground they touch, and they usually do this by making you do horribly pointless tasks or forced repetition of either tedious or strenuous tasks. The idea is that they break you down, and then those same sergeants build you back up by winning your respect again, usually by being extremely badass and brilliant.
User avatar #55 - neosonic (11/11/2014) [-]
Thanks a pretty cool thing, thanks!

Best of Full Metal Jacket - Boot Camp/Basic Training Here watch this. That's a good example of a drill sergeant. It's from a movie (Full Metal Jacket) but the drill sergeant (R. Lee Ermey) was a real drill sergeant and I believe they let him improvise most of his dialogue.
User avatar #68 - affix (11/11/2014) [-]
Sorry dude. Thats a drill instructor. Instructors are for Marines, they are a violent breed.
Drill Sergeants are for army.
#73 - willys (11/11/2014) [-]
Ah man, I have a lot of military friends, I should have known that. My bad. Still, it's a decent example for people who don't know how drill sergeants/instructors are.
User avatar #74 - affix (11/11/2014) [-]
Yes it sure is, and thank you for not flipping out.

Most times i correct people about the military they go all apeshit for some reason.
#75 - willys (11/11/2014) [-]
Probably because they don't get out enough to understand why people might be passionate about different things than they are. A lot of those same people would probably have an aneurysm if you confused anime and manga or some shit.

Nah I know most of the big things not to get confused. For example, soldier only refers to Army, sailor only refers to Navy, a Marine is a Marine, period. Basic is army, boot camp is Marines. Most military guys don't like civilians using slang names like jarhead, devil dog, etc. And say someone has prior service or is former active duty, they're never ex-military. Especially not Marines. A 90-year-old man who can't walk is still a Marine now if he ever was before.

I just get the details like drill sergeant/instructor confused sometimes. I take no offense to being corrected about military stuff. If someone can put their life on the line for me and my country, I sure as hell can use the right terms to refer to shit that matters to them.
