No. I'd probably make that bet. FSU against one of the best defenses in the country away on a Thursday night? I'd bet -1 at the half. People make these bets all the time. Also it's incredibly easy to forge those messages. What's suspicious is the message that says "we up big now" meaning he'd have to tweet about point shaving during the game, nevermind that it's dated a day later.

But what about the Falcons game? He was awful in that. I do see what you're saying, but Glennon has a chance to get better, while McCown just will not thrive in Lovie Smiths system (though at this point, it looks like nobody on the team will).
User avatar #36251 - hawaiianhappysauce (11/12/2014) [-]
What I think should have happened is the Bears should have ditched Cutler and put in McCown for a short term plan. Clearly McCown has a much better attitude and I think people would rather play on his team than Cutler's team.

True, but look at what McCown did over the first three games, and this last game. He makes the same mistakes, if not even worse mistakes. I don't like Glennon either, and would rather have neither, but if I had to pick between the two at this stage right now, I'd pick Glennon. Or keep McCown and get rid of Glennon and get a different QB for the next year.
User avatar #36246 - hawaiianhappysauce (11/12/2014) [-]
ya but the Rams game was not McCowns fault for losing. That was shitty special teams not making a FG and giving a blocked punt AND a player getting injured and ending the game. Also, a ton of the turnovers under McCowns leadership were caused by fumbles after the catch.

McCown

kkKhris, nigalthornberry, MillionsKnives

I agree with you about Cutler, he has no leadership at all. Talent-wise he is better than McCown and Glennon easily. But he is god awful in making decisions and leading the team.

As for Glennon. I can't pick Glennon over McCown. Glennon has way too many amateur mistakes. The Falcons and Ravens losses are just disgraceful and he contributes to most of that.

Eagles @ Packers - Seems like every team that enters Green Bay gets raped. Jets blow a lead and give GB 31 points, Panthers give 38 points, vikings give 42 points in a game, and the Bears give 42 points in the first half. I think Green Bay will make some big plays and get some 40 yard TD passes to Nelson. But the Eagles offense is also good, and with a good running game they should do well against GB defense. But GB wins 31 - 24 because they have the better QB

Patriots vs Colts. The colts have beaten the Seahawks, Broncos, Green Bay, and more inside that Dome. This is the same place Brady lost the NFCCG to Peyton manning after the 2006 reg season. This is NOT Brady's place. I pick the Colts to win 41 - 20.

Steelers @ Titans - who the hell cares about this game? Waste of MNF. I pick Steelers to win 34 - 17
