I think anything that's larger than a man and has an appetite for human flesh is going to be pretty threatening. And this dino looks pretty big. Maybe not as big as the spinosaurus or t-rex, but pretty close.

I hope I remember your shark comment to see if that actually happens.

We don't actually see the dinosaur hybrid yet. But the fact that it's going further into sci fi and not fantasy is just stupid. I'm on /tv/ now and no one is happy about this movie.

To be fair /tv/ is never happy with any movie. They shit on everything that becomes popular until shiting on the movie becomes popular then it becomes a good movie in their eyes.

Judging by its feet, which we did see, it seems pretty big. Unless of course they put large feet on a very small body which I think would just look disproportional and absurd.
User avatar #26128 - hawaiianhappysauce (11/26/2014) [-]
Maybe it's another dinosaur running from it. It did drag a human being too, not like a T-Rex would drag someone like that given its size.

Colin Trevorrow - "There is no shortage of awesome [real] dinosaurs. We could have populated this entire story with new species that haven’t been in any of these movies. But this new creation is what gave me a reason to tell another Jurassic Park story. We have the most awe-inspiring creatures to ever walk the Earth right in front of us, but for some reason that’s not enough. We’re always hungry for the next thing, and those who profit from it are always looking to feed that hunger. The focus groups want something bigger than a T-Rex. And that’s what they get."

Notice the last bit. This is why it's best not to jump to conclusions.

It's entirely consistent if the raptors are trained. You'd have a valid argument if out of the blue for no reason at all, raptors are scared shitless.

Every JP film is about 1 dinosaur, or 1 main baddie.

T Rex in part 1.
Two T Rex in part 2
Spinosaurus in part 3
New dino in part 4.

Part 1- T-Rex and Raptors, more so with Raptors
Part 2 - 2 T-Rex

Part 4 - Not even a real dinosaur.

Pretty sure the raptors weren't running away. I think Chris Pratt's character is a raptor trainer or something. I'm pretty sure people like you would be complaing if this movie just recycled the same plot from the first one. You say you want to watch something like the classics but would probably get mad if this movie was that instead of this. I'm not saying this movie is going to be perfect, but I won't start making judgements until I see more footage or the whole movie.

Tannehill, but compared to any quarterback who has had a long career like Cutler, Cutler is the worst of them all by far. Most teams would NEVER sign a deal to keep him. On the other hand, I think Tannehill is not as good as some of the younger quarterbacks who were drafted in the last few years.

Tannehill looks pretty legit, better than certain """"elite"""" QBs at least.
#36977 - repostsrepost (11/24/2014) [-]
if you consider Russell Wilson or joe Flacco or Dalton or Cutler elite than Tannehill is arguably better. As an NFL qb he is not in the same league as Luck, Brady, Manning and Rodgers though. He is good enough to win the games that they should and not fuck up too much.
User avatar #36969 - hawaiianhappysauce (11/24/2014) [-]
I disagree, I think Tannehill is the reason why they lose games. Their defense, special teams, running game is legit though. But every game against good teams (patriots were not a good team weeks 1-4) they find a way to lose. Green Bay gets a game winning TD with 5 seconds left, Detroit gets game winning TD with 30 seconds or so left, Denver gets game winning TD with about 2 mins left and Tannehill gets picked off. I just see a team that has players who are overachieving as individuals, but as a team they are underachieving. And because they have to play the vaunted Ravens and the red hot NE patriots team, they might go 10-6 and miss the playoffs because of the Chiefs and because of how inflated the AFC North is.
