The worst decisions were the 2nd and 2 for like 25 yard passes to Dobson (Dropson) or Gronk. The patriots are good when they just focus on moving the chains. keep Aaron Rodgers off the field. It's bad that GB had time of possession for over 36 mins.

I just saw ESPN's draft board and omg they're sucking Jameis's dick hard, he's such an overrated thug it's not even right, they have him in the fucking top 10, and MG3 at 16. and how the hell is Tevin Coleman 27? He's the best RB Indiana ever had.

Patriots dont need a RB since they got Blount for the MINIMUM. Another thing that made no sense. Why wasn't blount running the ball earlier? They had Bolden and Vareen out first... that made no sense to me.

draft boards have them getting MG3 if he went to the draft, but I heard MG3 is staying in Wisconsin for 1 more season (sorry Nebraska). Who's the best WR in college?
#37285 - repostsrepost (12/01/2014) [-]
Melvin Gordon still has another season in college? Damn. Maybe he'll get to break his own record(now Perine's)

As for your question Amari Cooper without a doubt. Only reason Alabama's offense is good, they get shut down when they don't get him the ball. I think some other ones are Rashad Greene from FSU, Devontae Parker from Louisville and Sterling Shepard from Oklahoma(don't know if he's old enough) Also Sammy Coates made Bama's secondary look like swiss cheese.

It's not like the patriots will get a top pick in the draft. I look at Odel Beckham Jr. and I think, "damn, that's what we need on our team." A WR who will requires corners to need help with a safety. That's how we had to approach Jordy Nelson or he could burn a corner and get a TD.

I'm amazed how neither threw a Turnover, both QB's played great, that 1 sack imo was the play of the game that forced Gostkowski to miss that FG. Patriots did not disappoint, they played very good, and so did that Pack. Good fucking game bro
User avatar #37270 - hawaiianhappysauce (12/01/2014) [-]
The play of the game imo was definitely the Jordy TD. If they settled for a FG and everything continued its course, the pats would be knocking at the 20 behind by 1, instead of 5 with about 2 mins left. I was hoping with about 25 seconds at the 45 they would just go for a FG.

Another thing I noticed was that GB can really get away with long passes because of their receiving group. I wish the Patriots would just suck it up and go draft a WR who has speed.

Yeah, the packers also worked on their deep pass defense. So the Pats going for the deep pass made no sense when clearly the short/medium check down routes were working and moving them down the field.

I thought the Packers were in deep trouble on the one driver where Bolden basically ran through the entire Packers defense into the endzone.
User avatar #37255 - hawaiianhappysauce (12/01/2014) [-]
I didn't. I felt something was wrong when the Patriots had to punt twice. A lot of people give a ton of Credit to the Pats defense, but the truth is it's "bend but not break" defense. It's not like Seattle where they basically force 3 and outs a lot. When it counted they stopped GB in the redzone. That is alarming though. The Packers could have easily ran away with this game because the Patriots couldn't stay on the field. Packers also held onto the ball for over 36 minutes. One of the biggest things about the Patriots offense is converting on 3rd downs and they didn't do well. There were also too many 2nd and 2 deep ball attempts, which lead to not making a 3rd and short and punting. Brady, you do not have a deep threat, stop trying that.

Hey man, it was a good game. I'm surprised as you are that the Packers defense stepped up lol.
User avatar #37253 - hawaiianhappysauce (12/01/2014) [-]
I thought the game could have gone any way. If the Packers defense struggled and Pats defense showed up then it would have been like the Colts game. If the opposite happened it would have been the eagles game (at Lambeau). But both showed up. The dangerous thing about Rodgers is that he is mobile and we had to contain him instead of pressure him. Brady on the other hand was under a ton of pressure on a lot of those drives.

I thought Chandler Jones was going to be playing this game, but he didn't. Hopefully if we play GB we will have him playing.
