Yeah, what I gathered from the head of the department (he and I are pretty close) is that diff eq that I would need for the class wouldn't be too hard to pick up on the go. Still, it's rough sorting out all of the different vectors and forces and equations and coordinate systems and meshing them together to yield the desired result. And the support that I had from my professor for the last three physics classes I've had is slashed because my current professor's office hours don't agree with my schedule as much. I can still count on some friends I have in that class, but we're all rather green to the subject and still getting used to it.

Thanks for the words of wisdom, though. I'll be sure to keep at it.
#1626 - What are you covering in physics? I might be of assistance.  [+] (3 replies) 02/11/2015 on Mods will post something... 0

Classical mechanics: linear and quadratic air drag
Circuits: Nodal and Loop analysis

The main problem with classical, according to my instructor, is that I really need to have taken differential equations to fully understand what's going on in the class, which is one more math class above what I have, which is only up to calculus III. The head of the department basically demanded a course override for me because he thinks I have what it takes and that it can be done with what math I have.

I'm getting by, but it's not easy.

Yeah that shit is ridiculous hard. I finished up Calc 3 last semester, and I'm taking differential equations this summer, so I'm not much further in the math department myself. It's good that you got a course override to get in though. What i can say from experience about diffy q's is that you get out just as much as you put in, because the whole class is conceptual. And, it's less math than multivariable so the course load shouldn't kill you as much.

Just keep your grind on. I just transferred out of a D1 college to a D3 because I couldn't handle all the distractions, it's just so hard to focus on this shit so much because they paint a very bleak future for anyone who isn't a 4.0 student. I've got much better grades now that I feel better about the support that I have. And if you don't have that kind of support at your school, you can always come here.

Oh I couldn't hate her for something so trivial in a million years. I'm kind of a geek about her lol

I just used to place a lot of importance on intimacy, because it's a good way to express how much you care about someone. You know, those times spent with the person you care most for. But now I look at all the small times I get to spend with her on the weekend, making her food, or riding in the car; I put importance in those moments because I can talk about anything, be myself, which I felt I haven't gotten to be for a long time. Those are the intimate times I look forward to.

I really appreciate the support, because I don't know how to talk to a lot of people about stuff like this. Thanks
