"(3) Observed temperature changes on land and ocean compared with natural and human climate drivers
The IPCC has carefully documented observed changes in air temperature, ocean temperature, ice retreat, and sea level rise over the past century. These observed changes are then compared in climate computer models with natural climate drivers and human climate drivers. The IPCC concluded that the observed changes are unlikely to be the result solely of natural processes. Figures 3 and 4 illustrate several examples from climate models that show that the combination of natural and human climate drivers closely match observed historical trends. Conversely, the corresponding figures from climate models using only natural climate drivers do not recreate the observed trends very well."

Most sources I've seen agree that humanity does in fact cause at least a portion of climate change, which nearly everyone agrees is happening. So no, you're wrong.

Okay, I was just pointing out that NASA, one of the places you cited has data that agrees with me.
Source 1 is using estimations as far as I can tell as there is no data and the video I linked shows the estimations were incorrect.
Source 3, again projected change not backed by data.
Source 4 goes off the assumption that climate change is rapidly occurring which is not backed by data.
Source 5 talks about how an increase in carbon emissions must mean climate change is occurring when there is no proof of it. It also says the ocean temperature is rising which is untrue. Figure 2 shows what each human activity's effect is on the climate, however, the data does not show evidence of global warming in the air or the water. Figures 3 and 4 uses models and real-world data does not back that up.
None of these are backed up by data unless you don't trust NASA's data.

Where is this graph from? I don't see it in the globalchange.gov link.
If it is accurate, neat, it seems ocean temperatures are rising very very slowly. That doesn't really prove it's due to human intervention. I do believe climate change is a thing but I have yet to see proof of it being caused by humans and

I don't have an opinion on whether it's anthropogenic or not because I lack the necessary background in science to understand it.
". . . climate change when there's not statistical evidence of any substantial change in climate in any measurable way."
That threw me off a bit, I think. The Argo chart was one of the results I got from Googling "ocean temperatures since 2004".

Helps that I'm not opposed to the point. If it were religion or something I'm fixed on it would've been a bit more frustrating.
Even a small change in temperature can severely affect ecosystems, even if humanity at large will be fine. The last ice age was 12 degrees Fahrenheit lower than the current average, apparently. Plus, on million-year timescales, we're screwed anyway.
#78 - silentautumn (17 hours ago) [-]
If we look at the surface temperature chart, it's been around a degree in a century. Another century of the same increase will definitely cause problems, since we're having issues with the poles right now. A single millennium? Ocean life is probably the safest, disregarding all the pollution.

The number only really matters for the result you're calculating. If you want a diffence in a couple degrees, thousands, if you want a hundred+ degree shift, millions, so it's not too important in that terminology. According to some of your charts all we gotta do is spray some more aerosol to promote global cooling, so I'm not too worried. After all, there was a global freezing scare in the 70s.

Also, I checked the sources on the NASA article. There's a report in it that clearly shows global temperatures have been rising, so I'm doubly sure his NASA evidence isn't actually NASA's evidence.
