I ended up visiting his website when he hit reddit a few years ago. I listen to his stuff all the time, good stuff.

Most of his songs sound exactly the same.

Yeah, that seems to be a sticking point for a lot of the same bands. Of the same genre. With the same style. With the same singers, guitarists, drummers, whatever.

Wait a second, that might have something to do with it...
Nah, couldn't be, right?

Yea, but most of them don't have the same chord progression, monotonous singing, and rhythm in 75% of their songs.
I wasn't talking about general sound numbnuts, if you pay attention he strums to the same rhythm in most songs, while playing near-identical chord progression, and he never changes his singing up.

I'm just saying, man, that's what a good percentage of people who hate certain bands say about a good percentage of bands. "All their songs sound exactly the same."

It gets to be a tired reason for disliking them. Obviously there's going to be a similarity in how he plays, because it's how he plays, and he's just one person. Tbh, he's better than like 90% of people I know who play instruments.

I get that bands have a sound they stick to.
But creating 10 songs that sound exactly, and I mean exactly, the same just shows that you have no creativity as an artist. And there are plenty of solo artists that do much more than him.

You could have just removed the comma.
