Im really mad that Bombadil wasn't in the hobbit movies. I haven't seen any of the others because the first movie was so much different than the rest. He's one of if not my favorite character.

You mean the LoTR movies right?
Tom Bombadil isn't in The Hobbit book.
Anyway. Yeah, i was also disappointed he wasn't in the films.
But the LoTR movies where mostly good.
The Hobbit movies however, was a travesty.

Yeah I meant LoTR, my bad. I really liked the LoTR movies, but yeah the Hobbit was absolute shit because they added so much crap that wasn't in the books. They even added a new character that didn't even exist. The hobbit wasn't a long book to begin with, but by all means; lets make three movies out of it because money.

Considering the fact that every movie already takes 3 hours and that his part is totally irrelevent to the story i'd say it's good that they cut him out

The Helm's Deep battle was a whopping 6 pages in the books IIRC. It took up about half of the second movie

Well when you consider that an Elf made the SIlmarils which caused a whole mess of shit for the Valar and everyone else that every existed, the Ring could very well have been something the Valar would care about.

But to show a better example: Bombadil.
He could touch the ring wear it and could see through the illusions the ring created. Although his power is not really defined in the books he might be more powerful than sauron but decided to not give a fuck for he was the first and will be the last as it was stated.
