"from people who have them without the ring." I would take the social traits of individuals who naturally have these traits without themselves benefiting from having any of the rings.

It doesn't say close friend. It says person you know well. If someone trusts you, you can easily get to know them well enough to aquire their whatever you want

Whoa whoa wait... Just the ALOLAN Dex? I thought that was the ENTIRE NATIONAL DEX. At least it was in OTHER games...

National dex isn't present in this game at the moment. No new pokemon appear in the wild after you beat the game, unlike the past games, and Pokebank isn't going to be updated until January, which means you won't be able to store or transfer Pokemon from or into Sun and Moon until then. So there's really no point in having a national dex at the moment. Might be released as free DLC in the future or something.

Ah, so even for the statement they're trying to make, it's stupid.
His statement comes off as praising the new and shunning the old (yeah I know everyone else pretty much said that).

Not necessarily. He simply stated that lightbulbs did not come from improving candles.

Yeah, but think of how literally people take things these days. They're going to look at it as, "Stop trying to make existing things better and focus only on new innovations. The past has nothing to offer us!"
#55 - skebaba (11/26/2016) [-]
Well, it doesn't. Past was pretty shit, which is why it's in the past and isn't anymore.
