Should add a psychopath can know they are a psychopath but wouldn't care. Self-proclaimed has connotations that in mind mind as described would stop them from actually being a psychopath.

Unless they were using it as an excuse to get out of jail.

Holy hell I did not notice my error, Christ... I must be barely conscious.

And no what I meant is you wouldn't proclaim yourself a Psychopath, if you didn't have a conscience, as it would require you to make a morality judgement surely?

Or that that the very fact that your action was decided because you consider yourself a psychopath and therefore did something, you probably considered bad, because you thought it would be what a psychopath would do means you must have a sense of morality even if it doesn't align with society and therefore also cannot be a psychopath.

I guess if you murder someone and don't feel like it was a bad thing you can pretty much class yourself as psycopath by observing how non psychos would react to having carried out the same action.

I don't need to hold the same ethics and morals as a different culture to be able to tell that some of my actions would go against what their conscience would tell them was wrong. I drink milk and feel nothing but I know my vegan friend would feel terrible about it.
