Although I completely agree with you, it wouldn't be practical. That would take like, at least 5 movies to get the full story with all superheroes in it and playing their major roles in the arc, which you would think Disney would get behind since it'd probably make tons of money but the actors and actresses would probably be too old by then, so I'm sure they're just focusing on getting some solo movies going, and finishing it with a great big bang with infinity war. Idk after that, a reboot maybe, beats me

From what I understand it'd be hard to do a proper Civil War storyline without the X-Men and the Fantastic Four, and as Marvel Studios doesn't actually have the rights to those franchises they made the best with what they had at hand. Plus, all they really did was use the name of the event and few of the story beats. Hell, nobody even died!
