Avoiding marriage is probably the best bet.
Hard to find a woman who would make a good wife these days anyways.
And yeah, it's shame that things ended up like this.

All we can do is choose how to best handle the situation.

From what I hear prenups aren't no fault either. Specially in places with those "live a certain amount of years with partner = wife entitled to benefits."

That part is usually agreed on by the lawyers. But it is common. What kind of fucked up world do we lived in. Talking about this is only making me more scared.

Even without with a poor marriage failure rate, as a man you still get the raw end of the deal. It's high risk low reward, and frankly, not worth it.

"Marriage rate: 6.9 per 1,000 total population
Divorce rate: 3.2 per 1,000 population"
6.9 - 3.2 = 3.7 successful marriages
That's a little bit more than half, so honestly the divorce rate is close enough to 50%, just a tad under. 40-50%.

I'm finally in a stats course so I can say it's not that simple:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Divorce_demography#Crude_divorce_rate
The percentage ratio of divorce for marriages is about 50%

stuff about means and medians and a bunch of shit I'm barely learning about but yeah
also one thing that messes with the numbers is that less of us are getting married:

The data is almost meaningless because of the way its calculated. Its not a viable metric.

I'm not saying we are in a good position with marriages but we ain't that bad. Also yeah the second part is definitely true.

Marriage Rate: 6.9 people per 1000
Divorce Rate: 3.2 people per 1000

3.2 divorced people to 6.9 married people. If the 3.2 is included in the 6.9, that's like 46%. Even if not included (I.e. divorced people not counting towards the marriage statistic, I would think they do but I can't be sure from just this) it's like... 32%.

One time I clicked on the spoiler and it actually had a spoiler for Star Wars in it. Nobody else was talking about Star Wars, it was fresh content so nobody had down thumbed him or cautioned others to not fall into the trap. It didn't ruin the movie for me, but it took a part of me that I'll never gain back. Ever since, I don't click spoilers if there is something new out that you dicks can ruin. By dicks I meant FJ in a whole, not you, I luv u bb <3
