Do you forget the roman documentation that on the day Jesus or as his name was truly Joshua died that the sky was darker, and that theyre where several accounts of earth quakes in Jerusalem the same day?

Well the sky gets darker...it's called night time. Or maybe it was overcast. Or maybe it was raining. A dark sky doesn't mean divinity. As for the earthquakes, there is constant seismic activity with hundreds of earthquakes being recorded every year, some are bigger than others. If I die on the same day that an earthquake happens does that make me a god? No. Also keep in mind that your facts are coming from two-thousand year old texts that have been translated many many times, they aren't exactly reliable when it comes to accurately representing what happened. There are texts from the same time period explaining how the whirlpool monster Charybdis swallowed ships whole while Scylla picked off sailors from the cliffs above.

"A religious studies student" as convincing as that may sound (insert sercasm here).
Even an idiot majoring in ehe.... "religious studies" (you mean theology by the way) should know that the atheistic view by definition does not provide any kind of certainty. What it does mean is that you have no notion that there is a supreme diety (hence you are "A"theistic, without theistic beliefs),

No, I mean religious studies, not theology. I take a theology course but my major is religious studies. It's a class that studies how religion impacts the societies of today and how it impacted them in the past. As for atheism, being without a belief that a divine entity exists is saying that you feel it isn't possible that one does, while agnosticism acknowledges that you don't know one way or the other, and you accept that.

I just feel like agnosticism is the easy way out, for people who are too much of a pussy to make a choice.
Personal opinion incoming: You either dedicate yourself to a belief, or you choose to be a non-believer. You keep it to yourself, and let everybody else mind their own business.

Offending people and not being politically correct. I'm not saying you have to debate and argue about religion (as in actively offending people). I'm just saying that agnosticism isn't really a stand to take, because then you don't actually have a stand.
Also, often times when I've spoke to people who are agnostic, it seems to me that they're saying "you know, I don't actually believe in God, but hey, what do I know, right?". Well, if you don't believe in God, why don't you just call yourself an atheist, and not care what religious people think?
TL;DR: Agnosticism is being afraid too take a stand.

Being politically correct by being agnostic? interesting, if I wanted to be politically correct I would call my self a theist, deist or something like that.
Agnosticism is about knowledge not about belief. You can be religious and agnostic or atheist and agnostic. Hell, any real atheist is actually Agnostic atheist

Taking the stance of an uninformed person unable to make descisions in regards to evidence and reasonable assumptions?

Sound non-idiotic indeed. Fence sitting bastard.

I'm a religious studies student at Carleton University in Ottawa, my mother was extremely religious and I attended church until I was 10. My father was extremely opposed to religion. I have studied the Bible, the Torah and the Qu'ran all rather extensively and have been formulating this opinion for upwards of 10 years now. I am not a fence sitting bastard, I'm someone who's realized that claiming certainty of any type is wrong.
