Indeed, and that is what happens.

Harry is two people, he is Harry and Voldemort. Yes, he indeed is Voldemort. So when Harry is killed the first time, the Voldemort within him dies, and so does a part of Harry, in fact, Dumbledore tells Harry he is dead and asks if Harry would like to move on and Harry returned. Now what do we know about ghosts that do not want to move on?

What did Nearly Headless Nick say?

"I was afraid of death. I chose to remain behind. I sometimes wonder whether I oughtn't to have… well, that is neither here nor there… in fact, I am neither here nor there… I know nothing of the secrets of death, Harry, for I chose my feeble imitation of life instead."

So that could also be what happened to Harry, he could be a ghost. And if you would say that he couldn't get children... Maybe he can, as the books stated, the ghosts can have a little bit of taste as they try to eat things, so maybe Harry could in that way make babies with Ginny.

And Harry never killed Voldemort, all that happened is that the spell Voldemort used backfired. So the phrophecy was broken at the last second.
