Are you a mohel?
What are you comparing the taste to?
We both live in the United States, and for some reason people have an objection to "if hitting girls is wrong, then hitting boys is wrong," apparently because "boys can take it, it is no big deal, man up."
Taking those factors into consideration, I feel compelled to ask you if you are aware of exactly how many "harmless" surgeries that are EXACTLY equivalent to foreskin removal are "botched" on baby girls each year, in the US?
I'm going to skip asking why anyone would object to a high-risk unnecessary procedure with proven adverse life-long effects, if it is preformed on males. I'm just going to avoid trying to argue that the primary advocates of clitorectomies have had the procedure and think it is "no big deal," as well as necessary to prevent "hyper-sexuality," or explaining exactly why people believe it is a medically beneficial procedure, and simply ask if you know how many are "accidentally" performed by licensed medical professionals in the United States.
"A very small ingsignificant number" is the response I expecting, and this isn't really fair of me, because I know for a fact that you don't have a solid number. I know this, because my answer is also vague and non quantitative. My answer is "enough that the State of Maine finds itself underfunded to prosecute even a tenth of the cases that they expect to be a clear cut win, requiring minimal court resources, out of the cases that they are AWARE OF." Yes, you read that right. Dozens of convictions, EVERY YEAR, chosen from the hundreds of cases THAT ARE BROUGHT TO THEIR ATTENTION, and they simply lack the resources to either prosecute any more, or to actually look for cases. "Whoopsie. Sorry about that, should have been a harmless pinprick, but I made a mistake again. I mistakenly performed the operation I am legally constrained from performing, again. Good thing Feminist groups are blocking any additional funding to prosecute me, or any Federal charges. Good thing any argument that could change the situation gets deflected into a discussion about performing the EXACT SAME procedure on a male, because my 'success rate' for that is much higher, and no one wants to argue that THOSE accidents are anything but an 'acceptable risk,' because males deserve it."
The 'successful' female procedure, is in fact, much LESS extensive than the male procedure...literally a pin prick or line of scar tissue rather than the deliberate excision of tissue, so the fact that it has a much higher rate of 'accidents' is perfectly understandable. It all come down to acceptable risk for boys.
Boys can take it.
