You keep saying that but again if that where true then we'd actually see that happening, where are those feminists? Are they just conviently silent?

Feminism is not broad and homogenic, it's about women rights exclusively, if you care about men's rights then you're not a feminist by definition, you're an egalitarianist.

But I told you that I believed the group had a good cause at heart.

And rather yes it is, Feminism contains women and men of all colours, they do care about the LGBT issues at hand. But like all big groups it tends to chip off into smaller ideologies and organisations. So you have the mild and the extremists, the feminists who look at the people of colour and the feminists who care about the transsexuals and feminists who care about the male issues.
Even though, I might admit that there are tension whether it concerns different subjects and frankly I really don't see why you're still fighting me on this, I do concern myself for male issues and female issues.

It may be possible for women in some countries to earn less, just like in some countries men earn less. But only one gender actually has support from feminists.

Again not very true, I try my hardest to express that the feminist movement is a very broad and homogenic (idk how it's spelled) blob of conceptions and opinions. There are always feminists who support the unfairness towards men, like me. As far as I know, are the Scandinavian countries the only ones with as far as complete equality between men and women. I think Iceland is number one at that. but that's just a trivial matter

Sorry but anecdotal evidence doesn't help, i have just as many people who have stories about girls earning much more than them.

Just porn? Are you sure?
www.forbes.com/2011/03/14/jobs-women-earn-more-money-than-men-forbes-woman-net-worth-salary_slide.html

The fact is when we compare actual statistics the gaps are generally based on the fact that men get pay more for a job because one they took different choices in career (men more likely to go into applied science where as women go more into humanities) or men simply work harder and have less vacations, when we compare them both in complete equal circumstances in most times women deserve as much if not more.

I could bomb a shit ton of evidence on your ass but it wont work because I fight for the equal pay in my own country which is Belgium since all my evidence is basically dutch and french. In Belgium a woman earns 20% less than a man in many many fields (just like I told you) The gap over a whole lifetime of earnings is true because a woman takes a maternity leave, even though that is flipping and it's more appropriate for a man to take a paternity leave and even be a stay at home dad. So that's a thing that I get and simply can't deny yet I find it very ridiculous that a woman earns less than a man for the same job.
But hey, why else would the Sasha Gray go out of her way to adress the equal payday problems if it weren't so?
Let's state that the problems in your countries are not the same as my country and I do earn less than a man in my country. So my apologies on my unhearted misconception of the geographical invalidation of it all.

See this is the perfect example of how feminism has turned you into a sexist, a family member of mine was raped and guess who donated to them? The MRA.

Because GOD FORBID there's an organization that actually stands up for men instead of the hundreds of feminist organizations out there right? Fuck men's rights after all. You've literally just proven my point.

Uhm no it can't? Feminism is a term that only described WOMEN'S rights, not men's rights, not LGBT, no just women's right. Look up any definition on it. And i'm anti-feminism for the same reason, because i believe in equality and not sexism or female superiority.

Also unequal pay is a myth, it's not based on discrimination but different choices and outcomes in workplaces, if you want REAL discrimination in work over 92% of deaths in jobs are male because they need to work much harder physical labour than women. Do you hear feminists talk about this? Nope because feminism is sexist.
User avatar #111 - freddychavez (01/11/2014) [-]
Ok just shut up for a second. I'm sorry that someone close to you got raped, I'm sorry for that.
But you don't get to talk to me about equal pay. Listen, I've been working my ass of in workplaces with my brother. And he got payed 10 euros/ hour and I made it to a 8 euros/hour! Now 2 euros don't look that big, but it does look fucking big at the end of the month when he earned 1000+ euros in a month and I had to get by with 800+ euros by the end of the month. And for the exact same work! And let me tell you, that does not get you by at the end of the month especially when I have a fucking kid and I'm still in university.
And how is it a myth when the only branch a woman earns more than a man is in porn? Not much a myth to me

The MRA's (which is the only male organization compared to the thousands of feminists organizations) have done a lot for rape causes much more than any feminist has ever done for men.

I'm not a feminist, i'm not a masculanist either, because i don't label myself based on the bias of one specific gender because that is a sexist attitude to have. Why do you label yourself as a feminist and not a masculanist?

Feminism by definition is sexist and the organizations have caused more sexism because they have created the stigma that all men are magically privileged and thanks to you feminists people do not take any cases of discrimination against men serious. You claim feminists care about pro-aid for male victims but if that were true then you'd actually see that in their actions.
User avatar #109 - freddychavez (01/11/2014) [-]
Oh my god, do you actually believe that the MRA's are an actually active organisation, I feel bad for you. If you do some research on them, they don't care about social problems at all. The first thing the MRA's are a bunch of grumpy white males that are scared to lose their number one position.
I do believe it started from a good cause and that is a man who lost his custody of his childeren to his wife due to an unfair assumption that women are better with childeren that men are, and guess what feminists are against it because assuming that a woman is best at taking care of childeren is a sexist notion.
The MRA's have grown out to be now an official hate group, so no they haven't done much.

Let's not forget that the term feminist can be a name for either a man or a woman (or genderless) so yes, I indentify with the term Feminist because I strongly believe in the very basics of it. Equality for all.
And that is through helping women and helping men get rid of certain harming states like the unfaireness in a divorce court for men and the unequal pay for women.

So many feminist organizations and yet NONE help male rape victims, which only proves my point, feminist organizations are sexist. Also it's women who usually have that attitude towards men being raped because they think "male rape doesn't exist"

Modern feminism has caused more sexism than equality.
User avatar #107 - freddychavez (01/11/2014) [-]
ok, reread my text and look for signs that makes me say that they don't help males. There aren't organizations that I know off (but I mean a quick google search could prove either one of us wrong) but there are plenty of feminists who support male rape victims and yes, I realised after I posted my previous comment that there are a lot of women who have that mindset aswell.
I remembered this one video where this girl beat a guy shitless in a public bathroom and a lot of people were like "yo, should have given her the dick" Which is fucking shitty because that class 1 assault and if a man would have beaten a woman up like that a lot of people would have jumped at that.
And yet, most of those idiots encouraged her, which distressed me.
Anyway, I'm derailing, No organisations that I know off but I'm fucking certain that there are groups out there that do help the male victims or rape! (And not thanks to the MRAS)
I am a feminist and I'm very pro-aid for the male victims of abuse and rape. And in what way did feminist cause more sexism?

Not much a myth to me
User avatar #112 - kanadetenshi (01/11/2014) [-]
Sorry but anecdotal evidence doesn't help, i have just as many people who have stories about girls earning much more than them.

Just porn? Are you sure?

The fact is when we compare actual statistics the gaps are generally based on the fact that men get pay more for a job because one they took different choices in career (men more likely to go into applied science where as women go more into humanities) or men simply work harder and have less vacations, when we compare them both in complete equal circumstances in most times women deserve as much if not more.

An opinion piece from a blatantly bias organization?
User avatar #113 - freddychavez (01/11/2014) [-]
User avatar #115 - kanadetenshi (01/11/2014) [-]
It may be possible for women in some countries to earn less, just like in some countries men earn less. But only one gender actually has support from feminists.
User avatar #116 - freddychavez (01/11/2014) [-]
Again not very true, I try my hardest to express that the feminist movement is a very broad and homogenic (idk how it's spelled) blob of conceptions and opinions. There are always feminists who support the unfairness towards men, like me. As far as I know, are the Scandinavian countries the only ones with as far as complete equality between men and women. I think Iceland is number one at that. but that's just a trivial matter
User avatar #119 - kanadetenshi (01/11/2014) [-]
And you've already proven yourself not to care about men's rights since you've demonized an entire group purely because they are men. Deeming them mysogynistic and inactive while they're actively helping rape victims.
User avatar #117 - kanadetenshi (01/11/2014) [-]
You keep saying that but again if that where true then we'd actually see that happening, where are those feminists? Are they just conviently silent?

Feminism is not broad and homogenic, it's about women rights exclusively, if you care about men's rights then you're not a feminist by definition, you're an egalitarianist.
User avatar #120 - freddychavez (01/11/2014) [-]
I didn't know that was actually a real thing and it's like the first thing I hear about. And yes, I may hold some prejudice towards the MRA's because of their online attacks on women who try to take down revenge porn jezebel.com/one-womans-dangerous-war-against-the-most-hated-man-on-1469240835
But I told you that I believed the group had a good cause at heart.

So you're admitting that there aren't any feminist organizations helping male rape victims, why are they taking so long to do that?
User avatar #105 - freddychavez (01/11/2014) [-]
God know mate, there are so many fucking feminist organizations out there I can't fucking know them all, can I? and why are they taking so long because most men don't take male rape victims that serious. They're more like "You got raped? Suck it up bro" So that attitude is a very oppossing and feminists are struggling to get that mindset down
User avatar #106 - kanadetenshi (01/11/2014) [-]

User avatar #108 - kanadetenshi (01/11/2014) [-]
