I am a Stickfigure, and while i am not against posting my own nudity, i doubt highly that you want to see stick figure sex, not much to show...

I search and deliver what i find to be either interesting or particularly erotic shit

I would accept that, if it weren't possible to breed, shall we call them, 'baby pokemon'

Like I could breed a Pichu with something, same goes for Azurill. But I can't take say... a Nidorino and a Nidorina, which in this analogy would probably be the teenage stage of their development, and create the lower stages

"The Rule of Two was instituted by Darth Bane, once a student at Kaan's Sith academy, in response to what he viewed as inevitable, self-destructive infighting within the Sith Order. The Rule of Two states that there would be only two Sith at one time, a Master and an Apprentice, guaranteeing that when the Apprentice becomes powerful enough in the ways of the Dark Side to take the title of Master, only then would they be worthy of the title. This transfer of power would only take place when the Apprentice takes their Master's life and finds a worthy student to repeat the cycle. Both Master and Apprentice were considered to be Sith Lords."

More info on it, Sidious did murder his master as accordance to the rule of two, he did not fully accept the whole "apprentice killing him part" and more followed the "rule of one"

there is more info here if you would like to learn more.

The rule of two was set up by Bane, I believe where it says there can only be 2 sith at a time. A Master and an Apprentice. Thatss why in episode 3 the Emperor had Anakin kill Count Dooku, to replace him as his apprentice.

Darth Krayt was a jedi who worked with Anakin skywalker, and almost turned him to the ligtside. After the jedi purge he survived on tatooine becoming a great war chieftain of the tusken raiders but was stopped by obi wan. Eventually he became a powerful sithlord and had something over like 80 apprentices.
User avatar #180 - franklyimaperson (02/07/2014) [-]
Ah makes sense to me... Though one wonders why this 'Rule of Two' wasn't questioned sooner, it would seem wiser, if only from a population sense, to be able to have more than one apprentice at a time. Yah know, just in case someone tries to kill them all, it would mean that hopefully the knowledge of the master won't be gone with his death and theft of whatever holocrons there may be

I mean even if the Jedi wouldn't do it, you'd think someone like Palpatine or someone would see a benefit in having more than one subordinate

Well, I have yet to have neurology and imaging exams analysis, but from what I can see the differences might be a somewhat simplified anatomy of the gyrus and sulcus (the bumps and entrances in the brain surface) though I don't believe it's possible for a psychological condition to alter the brain's anatomy that much.

There's also what appears to be a loss of density/ammount of gray matter on the PTSD one (the darker area on the surroundings of the previously cited bumps and entrances in the brain's surface), but that can be caused by differences in the exam and even by being taken on different machines.

All things considered, I'm calling mumbo-jumbo on the PTSD images' one, since it looks like even different parts of the brain are being looked at in the images (the PTSD one having more of the brain stem visible on the bottom)

User avatar #221 - coleopterist (02/05/2014) [-]
I looks... like... smaller? Idk like contracted, like a muscle spasm. Like whip lash! You're muscles get all weird. The brain in that picture looks like it's more sensitive. I think that's why it's brighter. Lots of activity going on all over and it doesn't know what to do with it'sself so it's spasming up. Still functioning.. but delicate. I could be wrong. Probably should google it.
User avatar #209 - osimonmagus (02/05/2014) [-]
I'm just guessing the hippocampus and frontal lobe areas are affected the most...since that is where memories and ....well...you, everything you are, are located. Just a wild fucking guess though.
User avatar #207 - longboarders (02/05/2014) [-]
It's a good question. I'm sure there are plenty of people who know the answer. Already getting response.
#206 - adak (02/05/2014) [-]
I have some basic knowledge of how MRI works and as far as I can tell there's not any clear difference between them. They are pictures from different layers of the brain so even if there were differences it would be hard to tell. The healthy scan is somewhere inbetween the first and second of the scans in my image, the unhealthy somewhere between the fourth and fifth. Also it looks like contrast is way down since you can't see any of the meninges(membranes). I don't get why the person who made this used a standard MRI to show the effects of PTSD when fMRI would have been much clearer.
User avatar #223 - adak (02/05/2014) [-]
Also the moving thing is basicly just like how a gif works. MRI just gets you a bunch of pictures of how the body looks in cross-sections. Stick them together like frames from a movie reel and you've got a moving picture.
#204 - areandara (02/05/2014) [-]
hippocampus, the part of the brain that is responsible for memory storage, has shrunk a little in the person with PTSD. more black.
#218 - adak (02/05/2014) [-]
I feel like these pictures are a really bad example to show that. They're from different parts of the brain, the normal one is from a layer in front of the one that shows PTSD. But I've been checking around a bit since I saw this first and there seems to be evidence that supports the fact that the hippocampus shrinks between 10-20% in those suffering of PTSD.

I still think that a funtional MRI or a PET would have been a lot clearer. Especially if you just wanted to show that there is a large difference between how a normal brain functions compared with that of PTSD patients.
User avatar #234 - areandara (02/05/2014) [-]
yeah, totally agree with that
User avatar #203 - ilikecawk (02/05/2014) [-]
If they're from the same machine the PTSD one looks darker.

Oh my favorite Route?

Honestly, with Hanako being a very very close second, Rin is my favorite

This is not fair, for a couple reasons, one being that I have only played 3 Routes, (Hanako's, Rin's, and the first half of Emi), Rin is my favorite because just how absolutely crushed I was when I got the Neutral/Bad ending, How much of a complete and utter failure I felt as I saw what I had caused through my actions

I probably would of been the same if I got Hanako's Bad ending first (which, I refuse to play for obvious reasons), and I am not far enough into Emi's to make judgement
