I am a Stickfigure, and while i am not against posting my own nudity, i doubt highly that you want to see stick figure sex, not much to show...

I search and deliver what i find to be either interesting or particularly erotic shit

Well think about structures, like buildings and shit, to make them stronger typically cross sections are put into the squares to strengthen them.

Honestly, I'd give every path other than Rin's a 6/10 at most. They're functional. Serviceable. They are the better side of average, but below what I would consider to be actually good. They're pretty transparent and at times can be stupidly trite, and whilst it handles those generic paths with more polish and humanity than most visual novels do (especially the whole anal thing with Emi) Rin's path blows them right out of the water.

If the game was more about that sort of mindset, of trying to understand these characters and maybe becoming a better person through it all, then I could get behind it, but most of the characters are pretty transparent stereotypes on the surface and there's not much beneath that.

I do like the conflict between Lilly and Shizune, which I think is wonderfully compounded by the fact that the two are completely incapable of communicating with one-another, but I feel like the story needed much more of that. Many more of those personal moments and obvious imperfections, and having these characters be broken in more than just the obvious ways.

I don't know how you'd do that for the other characters, but I know they did it with Rin, and honestly when I find a game that has segments that are just FAR better than the rest of the game it leaves me with a sort of culture-shock, like how Tuchanka in Mass Effect 3 is so much better than everywhere else in the game, or like how in World of Warcraft, Mists of Pandaria there was Wrathion's questline, being one of the most interesting questlines in the series, but the dialogue everywhere else read like it was written by a four year old.

So yeah, I can't heap praise on Katawa Shoujo, but I have high standards so what I consider to be just above average might be an 8/10 for other people. I'd say 6/10 for most paths, but for me Rin's path is a solid 9/10.

And the good ending gets her better off emotionally by burning some hella important bridges. It's all about tough choices and no true morality endings.

Which is why I love this visual novel so much, it really does a good job with deconstruction of genre, for say the example of Hanako's bad ending being her incredibly pissed off that you are treating her like something that specifically needs protection, just another person in a long line of people who don't see her as an equal

That's the bad ending. The neutral ending has her going off to a specialist art college. It's good for her career but who knows what it'll mean for her psyche.

I just didn't like the wording of "I'll forget you and you'll forget me", I mean given that it is her I don't know what that could mean, how do we know she wouldn't just keep doing that to intentionally isolate herself from everyone, something she had done several times already, to the point of forgetting to eat or sleep or drink anything.

Still, in both neutral and bad you are left with the knowledge that she is probably getting worse, and it is basically your fault
