I am a Stickfigure, and while i am not against posting my own nudity, i doubt highly that you want to see stick figure sex, not much to show...

I search and deliver what i find to be either interesting or particularly erotic shit

Frankly - You see this name, you think dirty.

But even if I was bound to just that , that would still be pretty god damn good, I'd be immortal, I could fly, I could transform into anything, which that is as loose a thing as I've ever seen

Alternitively I would wish 'I wish I could never be bound by the rules of a Genie', then wish to be a genie

See, I get what they were TRYING to do with that scene in Spiderman, and I think it could have worked if they had an actor who could play acting weak, trying to put a life behind them that could give them strength. If they had someone who could sell 'with great power comes great responsibility' convincingly, then they could have made a meaningful scene out of refusing to take responsibility. So I think that your problem with that scene was a problem for me too, but like most of my issues with Spiderman, it all comes down to, well, the actor being a blob.

I really didn't enjoy the story much either, but I kind of suspended my disbelief and looked at the action. I find that with many superhero movies it's better that way, such as with the first few X-men movies (excluding the abominable Wolverine movies.) I watch them for good action, exciting fights, and interesting characters, and just ignore what the dialogue and the plot actually give, for fear of not being able to watch it without thinking of the glaring holes.

The problem I had was that Tobey Maguire and his runny weepy nose just kept hovering in front of everything, and somehow it just dulled everything so much. Spiderman 2 was at least somewhat interesting for the fights, and Doc Ock, despite being completely unbelievable, was at least quite entertaining.
User avatar #36 - franklyimaperson (06/20/2014) [-]
My biggest issue with the film comes during the time he lost his powers, the montage of him not doing anything to help anyone or thing, it just bores at me and pisses the living shit out of me

Namely this problem can be summed up with what I loved about what is my favorite scene in the much better film, The Dark Knight, it is the bit after Joker says that if the man who is willing to reveal who Batman is, he will kill more people

Bruce Wayne goes literally out of his way just to be sure the man who could blow his entire life into hell is safe, compared to Peter, who stands there just watching this guy get beaten, doing nothing

What a fucking prick

I... kind of agree with you. I don't think it was awful, though, and in fact I strongly prefer it to both Spiderman 1 and 3. Mostly because Alfred Molina did a great job with his character.

It's a personal bias though. I don't think they're objectively horrible, there was just something that really grated my nerves about Tobey Maguire. He was just so... weepy and entirely unconvincing.

Then again, he makes fantastic faces to use as reaction pictures...
User avatar #34 - franklyimaperson (06/20/2014) [-]
My issues can be basically boiled down to issues with the story, for more personal reasons

Him losing his powers for half the movie is stupid (more so for them not giving a reason), Doc Ock is a complete retard (who tests what is essentually an super electro-magnet with immense gravity roughly 50 feet from that window?), Mary Jane is a complete tool to JJ's son, and it is just these things that keep building and building until I declare it one of my least favorite marvel movies from the last decade
User avatar #35 - Hreidmar (06/20/2014) [-]

Then you haven't watched the following: Electra, Daredevil, both Fantastic 4 movies, Xmen 3: The last shit, Hulk (2003), Ghost Rider, Ghost Rider 2, and of course Spiderman 3.
#74 - beerterror (06/20/2014) [-]
Daredevil - best fuckin marvel villain up to date, Farrel nailed it.
FF - agreed, they ruined Doom for a corpo-rat
X-men - agreed
Ang Lee's Hulk - good attempt, can't see why all the hate
Ghost Rider - one was shit, second wasn't so bad, it was funny in Blaze's style.

Well, I'd take every one of previous Spider-man films over this new two. The kid pisses me off, plus, well, they don't add up at all.

I personally thought Xmen 3 was pretty damn good back when I saw it. That was a long time ago. Mind explaining why everyone hates it?

And Spiderman 3 was a great movie. They just made fucked up in certain spots, but overall the movie was enjoyable. Toby Maguire was funny, you could sympathize with Sandman, and the action was great. I just wish Venom had a larger and more significant role.

I can agree to an extent. I do think they are obsessed over a bit much, but they definitely frightened me.

It's very hard for me to find things that scare me too. Making 9/10 horror movies a snooze fest. What I like is the aperate and temporal behavior of the Angels and how they can apply as both an alien and a mythical creature. Plus the concept of removing you from your life as a way to kill you. Nice and grim.
User avatar #57 - franklyimaperson (06/13/2014) [-]
Indeed, but idk, perhaps it is just the fans beating down on it like they do, but even The Empty Child seems more interesting to me, I mean it is essentially a huge misunderstanding from a group of nanites who were just trying to fulfill their programming and help people

Granted, I also see the fans lather that episode something bad, but I don't see it brought up as much, so I suppose the Doctor is being subject to 'Portal Syndrome'

Oh my favorite Route?

Honestly, with Hanako being a very very close second, Rin is my favorite

This is not fair, for a couple reasons, one being that I have only played 3 Routes, (Hanako's, Rin's, and the first half of Emi), Rin is my favorite because just how absolutely crushed I was when I got the Neutral/Bad ending, How much of a complete and utter failure I felt as I saw what I had caused through my actions

I probably would of been the same if I got Hanako's Bad ending first (which, I refuse to play for obvious reasons), and I am not far enough into Emi's to make judgement
