thats a stupid excuse
first you have to get skinny, then you can gain muscle mass
it takes way more time to gain muscles than to lose weight

Not totally true. A lot of times it's a lot easier to gain muscle then lose fat afterwards. More muscle = higher metabolism = greater ability to lose fat at a higher rate

as a kinda jacked guy that lost 40 kg till now i know what im talking about
its really just a stupid excuse.

What's a stupid excuse? Building some muscle first? Unless you are obese you don't have to lose fat first, if anything you risk losing some of what little muscle mass you start with, making it harder on yourself. Muscular guys lose weight easier then guys with little muscle. I've gained 60 pounds while remaining under 15% body fat. So I know my way around how the body works too buddy.
#171 - anon (12/16/2014) [-]
"while remaining"
ofc it works if you arent fat at all
15% body fat are not fat
60 pounds are about 25 kg. that means if you are not the right body type it could cost you 6-7 years to gain that. if you have the right body type and work out like a pro while you eat shitloads of proteins, that would still make more than 3 years. if you are trying to lose weight at the same time it would just make the muscle gain process slower.

on the other hand you can lose up to 10 kg the first month you lose weight and then still like 7 kg more every other month. for 40 kg, if you are realllly trying, you would need about 5 months.

compare 5 months to 3-7 years.
fk your logic.

And nearly anyone can gain at least 30 pounds in a year with a decent diet and decent programming. You don't have to have been fat to know how fat loss works and the best way to lose fat.

It does not take 3-4 years to build that much muscle. It took me under a year and a half.
#192 - anon (12/16/2014) [-]
use the internet
look it up
no one gains 30 pounds a year

30 pounds if lean muscle gains? No. 30 pounds of total mass? Yes. Realistically you'll be gaining 2 or 3 pounds of fat for every pound of muscle. So 15 pounds if muscle is 30 pounds of fat, that's 45 pounds total
#189 - anon (12/16/2014) [-]
hahaha, kk
if you doin it as professional as you could youd gain 20 pounds a year (like arnold-schwarznegger-professional)
you are lying to yourself dude
#191 - marinepenguin (12/16/2014) [-]
I really think you're trolling. Or have no clue what you're talking about. You gain less muscle as you go along and begin to reach your genetic potential. as a newbie you can gain a ton of weight with no issue, hence the term, " noob gains".

The photo is me with less then 2 years and 50 pounds between them.

Hit the gym, eat a lot. Do squats, benches, deadlifts, overhead presses. Be consistent and get better every workout. That's all it really takes to make progress.
#201 - anon (12/16/2014) [-]
so please
tell me how much you weigh in both of these
and you realize that you gained fat too?
in the right one you have no fat at all.

but still massive gainz brah

And I was 145 in the old photo, a little under 200 in the newer one. Right now I'm sitting at 204.

Yeah. I haven't been talking about pure muscle gains, I've been talking total mass the entire time. I was under 10% when I started, and now I'm 12-14%. So I know I've gained fat. That's what happens when you bulk.
#116 - anon (12/16/2014) [-]
