I live in Canada and we need a Phd in psychology to have a job in that field, please tell me how hard your degree in chemical engineering is that much harder (there's a lot of weeding to get in the program too)

lol i dont have to get a PhD in my field to get a job dumbass. people are drooling over me the second i step out of college. idk about canada but the reason you have to get a PhD in psychology to get a job in the states is because every edgy teen who doesnt like hard work tries to get a degree in it. lol the only way to tell other people its a legit degree with out getting laughed at is to get a doctorate

No, you don't get it. In canada, the psychology degree is hard to get, not to get in, and to become a psychologist in Canada, you need a doctorate. So I ask you again, how hard is your degree against my PhD?

i bet all my classes are harder and you focus on bulllshit social studies. and your comparing a 4 year degree against a Doctorate dumbass. if i spent like 10 years on a Chemical Engineering degree it sure as hell would be harder. imagine getting a degree in Chemistry, Mathematics and physics all combined. and my profession is vastly superior as well. what is the work of a psychologist against what i could do with a doctorate in my degree?

Hahahahahahaha oh lord you do sound like an uneducated moron though that's for sure!

Hurr durr social studies are so easy! My scientific studies are so much harder and better than your pathetic field of science!

I was saying that the studies I had to do to get a job were much harder than yours, and you just admitted I was right.

Also, I know a lot of friends that are really good in math, sciences and such but are fucking shit in philosophy, psychology and other human sciences fields. They aren't easy course, unlike your biaised thoughts may think (these people got into med school, actuary and other hard domains)
Of course you may think they're less useful, and that's your right, but I couldn't give less of a shit comming from someone as moronic, close minded as you. Have fun understanding advanced chemical concepts, but it won't make you any much of a better human being, understanding politics, being a better parent, or simply, having respect for other studies as your fucking own.

I can see why the education system in the US is so much shit now

lol, I actually read philosophy! but its whatever i know you wont care. i am very well rounded and i kick some serious ass when it comes to the aesthetic arts and understanding cultures. lol and anyone who thinks that social studies are harder or more important or better in any way besides preferring them more truly is beyond convincing. lol and it wont help me be a better person? my fields of study may lead me to help thousands , mabey millions of people. im working on a project to develop cheap eaisly buildable water filters in africa, that will save lives. and what will you do? make a few sad canadians happy? fuck you. i do not chose this path because it is easy for me, but because it is hard. i can make a difference with this. and getting a MD is easier than a PhD in CHEM E.

You're missing the point.

Your degree is more usefull than mine in many ways, and I never said the opposite.

You mocked my field of study and that really pissed me off. I'm glad you at least gave it a try, if you're not interested by it then it's fine, to each it's own.

By the way psychology really helped society getting a better go at education, how we treat depression, anxiety, mental diseases, and many, many other subject that touches the human whereabouts. It's not just helping some old, fortunate woman with their problems, as some might think.

Once again, I feel the need to reiterate, my field of study is not harder than yours, it's different and has a lot of challenges. You presented your own as much more difficult, much more useful and kinda belittled social studies in gerenal, which bottered me.

I'm glad we have a better understanding of each other now, I don't think we should have any conflict now.

By the way, you study ways to purify water in Africa? It's pretty interesting since I'm studying the subject of access of fresh waters in a political course I have, isn't that a huge fuckign challenge since like 90% of industrial waters is dumped in waterstreams regardless of the outcomes?
