If you can choose, Squarespace is pretty great. I have no experience in WordPress, so can't help you there

There's quite a few tutorials on wordpress. Just google them and you'll find hours worth starting even from the very beginning of getting the host and whatnot.

Wordpress is a great tool for beginners, and easy to build a website with if you're in a crunch. You could watch a tutorial and build one in a night if you're motivated enough. Just watch a tutorial and get at it.

The most important part imo is your theme, if your theme is bad your entire website is bad. And switching over can be a nightmare.

Most quick fixes to wordpress via forum involves adding or removing code from the php or the css file. So if you buy a theme from someone there is a good chance that through their service they are not going to allow you to access them, so if you want full control you better make sure you get it.

The wordpress codex exists, it answers a lot of questions. And like the Reddit Sidebar or a sticky you should always try to find an answer to your problem there first, though googling it will probably bring it up as well, but regardless the codex is super informative.

Their support forum is... ok, but I'd find another resource personally. Or look for your individual problem being solved.

It's not too bad of a program depending on what you want, but if your'e familiar with html 5 css and javascript it will probably just annoy you how little you can influence it. It annoyed the pants off me and I'm not even amazingly adept at hardcoding or building a website from scratch. But it is the best, and their market is huge.

Then you're gonna fuck yourself up lifting because you're fucking dense. You're one of those guys who drops the weight on himself and blames someone else.

I feel like understand you both. Yes, scraping his knees for maximum lifting efficiency was best for him to do. He is a professional in a competition, where injuries are to be expected. However, constantly eroding your skin away will definitely fuck up anyone over time. Everyone else who isn't a professional or not trying to be one should not put their bodies under such stress. It just would not be necessary.

I don't understand any part of this argument. I keep my bar so close to my shins that it fuses with my bones. If you're not fusing the bar with your bones you're doing it wrong.

you were very strongly implying it yes. and i can see how one can ususally have propper form and then offcourse have a accident where you might nick yourself by accident.

but you were practically saying scraping was inevetable. i mean "you cant get too close" after we just watched a guy pretty badly scrape his knees, what was i suppoused to think.
#35 - eatsleepswim (04/20/2016) [-]
"Scraping is inevitable" and "Scraping is required" are two very different things. Scraping IS inevitable, but not every single rep. If I'm warming up on a deadlift I'm not dragging the bar across my shin so that I can look gnarly, but if I'm hitting a max I'm focused on keeping the weight close to my body to minimize unnecessary stress on my back, and, yes, that can lead to scraping my shin. This gif is obviously one of the more extreme cases, but it happens everywhere.
