The sequel isn't as good as the first, but it's still note worthy imo.

Yep, I liked that about Saw too. The guy with rings embedded into his skin that he had to tear out did me in though. If I remember it was like a couple minutes into the second movie and I just decided I really needed some candy at that minute to regroup myself lol

Oh yeah, now that I think about it, Saw 3 was probably the most gorey of them...
"The Rack" from Saw 3 was the worst for me though. The soundeffects make so much difference for me.

The scene you are thinking about is close to the end of Hostel 1 I believe.
The female first gets a blowtorch to the eye, which leads to her eyeball sort of "hanging out" of her skull, which in turn makes the main character cut it off with a scissor, leading to some pus or juice coming out of her eye socket.

I watched it once when it first came out and don't really want to go back and watch it again. My stomach isn't good with torture scenes and even some of the Saw traps made me have to turn away because I felt ill.

I'll just guess that we are talking about the same thing, though.

What im worried for, is that these films are purely for morbid fans.

I watch films for a good stories (like mindfuck films)...
Saw is probably my favourite movie series because it is really sophisticated and has so many hints and hidden messages... I watched the whole series maybe 5 times and each time I discovered something new which I didn't realise before.
Truly wonderful.

The blowtorch to the eyeball did some damage to my will to live for a fairly long time.

Not sure if we're talking about the same thing, I remember from the video that someone's eyeball was cut off with something like scissors and then orange-ish stuff started coming out..
I don't feel scarred tho. I saw more nasty gorey stuff when i was young
