Yaaaaay Entourage!
My girlfriend won't watch it with me.. She watched like half of the first season and said she didn't like it. Irritates me.. First season is always character-development, of course it's going to suck.

Yes, it's "separatist" guerilla activity. I'm not sure what your point is, those cities are far away from the conflict zone and are still not at peace since there's obviously significant portions of the population who dislike the central government. Of course, if you are going to define a city under Ukrainian control only as one where there is absolutely no civil unrest, your statement that cities under Ukrainian control are at peace will never stop being true...it's also meaningless though.
Next part are unsubstantiated claims. Even western journalists in the conflict zone said the majority of the fighters are locals (but the commanders are generally from Russia), sooooo yeah.
The last point - those ceasefires never really worked in the first place. Both sides broke them all the time. You choose to only focus on the violations by the rebels, but the fact is that Ukrainian artillery was firing on Donetsk and other rebel cities like Gorlivka just as much as the rebels shelled Ukrainian positions. Now with Minsk 2, I agree that the attack on Debaltsevo was a gross violation of the ceasefire, but again, at the exact same time, Ukrainian troops launched an offensive east of Mariupol to capture Shyrokyne and other settlements and ultimately Novoazovsk. Why you would say that what I "spew" is without research I have no idea, I'm pretty well-informed about the situation for someone who isn't actually there to be honest, at least for someone who is not actually on the ground. Just because my opinion differs from yours doesn't mean I'm ignorant, maybe you should learn to accept that not everyone has to share your views. Your views seem very one-sided, probably to the point where it is not worth having a discussion here.

The repealed a law that allowed every oblast to have official languages beside Ukrainian. Of course Russian is not banned as a language (just as an official one), how would you do that anyway, but it was a symbolic act.
As for the state of peace - yes, if you ignore the bombings in Kharkov, Odessa and other cities (as well as the fact that they moved the National Guard into Odessa to keep order and Kharkov also has heavy military presence).
The fact that you're accusing me of just spewing propaganda I think is quite telling considering that what I said is pretty moderate (though admittedly I am pro-rebel in this conflict). It's a tendency I've noticed among the pro-Kiew people, even truly neutral or even other pro-Kiew people who are not sufficiently radical are labelled as Russian propagandists, it's really quite hilarious (take Shaun Walker of the Guardian for example - clearly pro-Kiew, but when he said that not letting medical supplies into the separatist-held areas is morally wrong, oh you should have seen how the Kiew-crowd descended on him with all their fury)
User avatar #25 - duudegladiator (02/25/2015) [-]
So you bring up Kharkiv and Odessa bombings, but in fact those are not the Nat. Guard, but instead "seperatists" Explain to me how a government controls a city when there are bombings going on? Let all the military stay away and let the cops deal with it? The police in Ukraine have shown to be partially effective with a long standing time of corruption behind them.

If you are Pro-"Rebel" Then you are Pro-Russia. There are so little rebels left from this sustained conflict that the Russian Federation has been sending in Conscripts and Chechneyans, along with the break away regions(backed by Russia) in Georgia.

The amount that you spew without research confounds the brain to a point. Yes, I am Pro-Kiev, because Ukraine is an independent nation that should have its Borders under its own control. You say That the new government is bad? Why then, after the Minsk1 and Minsk2 agreements did the Rebels openly oppose and shell the Ukrainian military when the military was told to Ceasefire? Because they do NOT follow international laws and simply wish to destroy Ukraine in any way possible.

Yes, because i am not in a position of power and do not have the intelligence agencies or the ability to make the decision myself, when looking at things in retrospect, its easy to find faults. However, when making the decision then and there, that is what Generals and Commanders must do.
