I can tell you're a troll, but I wanna see what happens anyway:

I'm white; where do I sign up for white privilege?

When my family was poor as hell we applied for welfare and got turned down, the person there blatantly said it was because we were the wrong color. Ate outta cans for a few years because people don't care about white people, because you can't oppress the majority.

!!Society only cares about people who can complain.
www.youtube.com/watch?v=5aAWlwKyavU!!

.. So where exactly is my privilege? I mean, if you can tell me I'll genuinely consider it.
User avatar #142 - hoponthefeelstrain (01/26/2014) [-]
The privilege is that people give you the benefit of doubt. No one's going to cross the street when they see you walking, or lock their car doors when you walk by.

Even though I dress respectably people still assume I'm a criminal. I tried helping an old lady, she was struggling to keep the door open and push her cart at the same time. I walked over to ask if she needed help and she grabbed her purse so fast and stared at me like I pulled a gun out on her.
User avatar #144 - teruterubozu (01/26/2014) [-]
That's more of a societal bias than a privilege.

Just because a handful of old fashioned people think I'm more trustworthy doesn't mean I get anything GOOD in the long run.

Everybody still has to work for everything they have. Minorities don't have to work harder to have as much, and I think going around spouting off about white privilege is incredibly insensitive not only to white people, but every race that has to work for what they have. Especially anyone who deems themselves equal with other races.

You need to stop being such a racist.
User avatar #145 - hoponthefeelstrain (01/26/2014) [-]
Maybe I'm not being racist and seeing things from a different perspective? It's not just elderly people, it's younger people too.

I have family from the south, my great grandma had 14 kids all by the same man. Married when she was 14 and he was 21, they never got welfare and my great grandpa still owns his farm and makes really good money off of it, he made his kids work for everything they have, and they all raised their kids the same way. I can confess that I'm a little spoiled, being an only child but doesn't mean I didn't work hard for my GPA or SAT scores. You know my guidance counselor just told me to apply to a historically black college? Just because I'd have a guaranteed chance of getting in since my scores are a little higher than their mediums.
If you believe minorities don't have to work as hard then I have to disagree with that. I think they have to work hard to gain people's trust. Not all are on welfare, not all have 5 baby daddy's and only 2 kids. Idk maybe you're the racist one?
User avatar #146 - teruterubozu (01/26/2014) [-]
Maybe I worded it wrong:

Everybody has to work for what they have. Everyone has an equal amount of difficulty in modern society, and absolutely everybody deals with racism. Yes, even white people. Me personally, as a matter of fact.

And I'm not saying at all that minorities have it easier; not by a long shot. I'm saying they don't have it harder. -- Don't mince my words.

To sum up my general idea here is that anti-racism is still racism, and you shouldn't treat anybody like a victim until they are one. You could argue that the whole of every minority is worked against, but you'd be completely wrong.

I've seen racism promote people that didn't deserve it, and hold back people that did. Of many different colors and backgrounds. Hell, I'm sure you'd promote a black man over me because you believe I'm a privileged white man and I don't deserve it.

Now honestly ask yourself, are you a racist?
If you think there's anything that makes us different in society, then I have bad news.
User avatar #147 - hoponthefeelstrain (01/26/2014) [-]
I never said white people can't experience racism. In another post on this same page I admitted to jumping to conclusions on a kid from Kentucky and assuming he was racist, and I honestly felt bad about it.

When you said " minorities don't have to work as hard for as much" I took that as you saying that minorities have life easier because of welfare programs and such. My fiancé is white and I know he was bullied in school by some of the black kids for being white and poor.

I just think everyone has a different point of view and no one wants to see the world from another persons point of view. My fiancé and I usually see different racial events and have different views on them.

I know a lot of white people are upset about scholarships specifically because of your skin color, but I guarantee if you apply to a historically black college they'll pay out the ass to get you to come to their school, but everyone is too busy trying to figure out who can be the bigger victim to even think of the benefits of applying to a HBC. Just because it was originally for black people doesn't mean it always has to be that way or that the college wants to keep it that way.

The evidence very clearly pointed in favor of his own self-defense. That does not change regardless of the kid's race. The only reason this case even went to court is because of the media. If it was a white kid instead of a black kid the media wouldn't have given two shits and no one in their right mind would have brought him to court with such a small amount of evidence against him.
#81 - anonymous (01/25/2014) [-]
1. Zimmerman didn't use the stand your ground laws as a defense.
2. Shooting someone who is bashing your head into the ground is legitimate self defense as defined by law.

If a white kid had done the exact same thing he wouldn't have been charged, he was only charged when Al Shaprton and the funky bunch made a scene.
User avatar #91 - fishandkids (01/25/2014) [-]
The thing is If Zimmerman had stalked a white kid skipping (Zimmerman's words) and when the white kid asked him why he was being stalked and Zimmerman reached for his phone (right next to his gun (Zimmerman's words again)) withouth saying a single word to the white kid the white kid would have been in the right hitting Zimmerman. Zimmerman then can't say I defended my self when he was the one who casued the attack. Do you know how retarded that sounds?
#95 - anonymous (01/25/2014) [-]
Stalked has a legal definition regardless of the words he actually used. And Zimmerman's actions don't equal stalking. Secondly if treyvon martin could see Zimmerman's gun behind his phone in the pitch black darkness for the half a second it may or may not have been visible he would be superhuman to say the least.
You cannot hit someone let alone bash their head into the pavement just because they were following you.

I put forth my arguments, you've been attacking me personally for the past two posts. The fact that you're getting so angry about this is delightful though.

I want to try mushrooms really badly, I feel it would be really hard to top the first time I took acid.

But shrooms do contain DMT so I'd imagine you could see things that aren't there like other entities, which isn't bad.
But I like LSD because what you see is all reality, nothing is changed, only your perception of it.

And yes, in America adderall is popular, I wouldn't mind trying it.
I wouldn't snort it though, also that guy saying MDMA not being popular at parties was retarded, MDMA is the most popular party drug except for alcohol and Marijuana.

I love MDMA too, when I first took it, I felt the effects 45 minutes in and it made me anxious, then as soon as I turned on music I could feel it really take over and I lost every fear I had of the drug and the music was more intense than ever.

I took one smartie with it on it.
I would say 300 - 400 micrograms, about 16 hours of intense tripping the first time, 6 - 8 peaking of laughter, then psychedelic come down.

It did not ruin anything for me, sleeping pattern can be fixed in a day, that doesn't bother me.
It was good acid too, great acid.
Kept good in tin foil, no exposure to light.
So it was high grade LSD and a good amount of it.
#40 - dryhead (01/16/2014) [-]

Are you from the US? Because that explains why you'd do some stupid shit like sniffing fucking adderall.

I think LSD is good for the visuals and the dissasociative effects, but I prefer shrooms. You can feel it running around your brain and changing the way you think; it's true that the first time you take shrooms it changes you in a way you can't go back from. Ket and shit is just fun times.

DMT is some serious shit though.

Oh, that's right.
No intense kick of euphoria, yea.
I forgot that the first 2 times I took it I giggled my ass off for 6 hours straight until I hit a psychedelic peak.

No, it does not ruin the next couple of days either.
Never has it ever done that to me, it gives me deeper more meaningful thoughts for the next week or so, but how is that bad?

In the way that you can have a life changing experience on it.
It's not just a drug that gets you high, granted mushrooms aren't either...
But acid is just better.

Why wouldn't adderall be at a party?
It's similar to MDMA just not as intense and has slightly more productive side effects.

I prefer tripping on shrooms to LSD. LSD is like a whole thing, it ruins the next couple of days. And I'd never do acid at a party. Shrooms change your life. Shrooms are so much better than acid, actually. LSD is too dependant on mood/atmosphere, you don't get that intense kick of euphoria you get from mushrooms.

Hey dryhead! I know I'm just a random nobody on Funnyjunk but I really enjoyed your post about the truth on some of the marijuana issues discussed and I was wondering if you were planning on doing a second part for weed or any number of other subjects where people are falsely informed. I would really be exited to see something from you again!
