Actually nitrogen is a very inert gas. That's why when you light a fire on earth the fire doesn't spread through all the air. This is why I was thinking it would be beneficial to use on the station.

They do use a nitrogen/oxygen blend.

If you are looking into buying an Iguana as your first reptile, I wouldn't recommend it.
Iguanas can be great pets if raised right, but they are definitely not a beginner reptile. They have a tendency of becoming aggressive when not raised on a diet of fruits and vegetables (some dumb people feed them bugs and meat), grow up to 6 feet long, and need very large enclosures to ensure a docile temperament.

If you do your research, and make sure you can house the iguana in the right sized enclosure, then I'm sure you'd be okay. I'll include a picture of what an iguana bite looks like. They also tail whip, and can shatter bones in your hands and fingers.

Yeah, they need huge spaces to live. I just let mine live outside now.

Iguana uses tail whip! It's very effective.

Tail whip thing is no joke. My dads -exgirlfriend owned one when I was little and it did not like me.

They hangout around people, and eat things people drop (mostly cereal.)

#75 - xxxsonic fanxxx (09/01/2014) [-]
No, you can't.
Nobody has ever claimed to be able to summon someone just by saying their true name.

Even if you say the chandrian's names multiple times, they won't just appear instantly behind you out of thin air.

This is because you do not understand names. And you lack the requisite spine and testicular fortitude fortitude to study them.

The Sandstorm lizard from the African country of Darude.
User avatar #22 - zoologyexplain (09/01/2014) [-]
It's a rock iguana. They are more docile (and more intelligent, IMO) than the green iguana. They also have much different care requirements.
User avatar #46 - RipperMan (09/01/2014) [-]
I used to have a green iguana.

The thing had no intelligence whatsoever. We literally had to stick his snout in water for him to realize to drink it.
User avatar #54 - zoologyexplain (09/01/2014) [-]
Iguanas do not naturally need to drink. They are herbivores and should get their water requirements through the vegetables they eat. When fed appropriately, they should never actually have to drink water.
User avatar #59 - RipperMan (09/01/2014) [-]
he wasnt very good at locating his food bowl either
User avatar #33 - burningsmurfs (09/01/2014) [-]
That is actually one lizard that doesn't seem pointless to own, how elaborate are the requirements for one?
User avatar #55 - zoologyexplain (09/01/2014) [-]
I was mistaken, they do have similar UV and feed requirements to the green iguana, but need large floorspace as opposed to height. It's an animal the many owners decide to keep as a free-roam in their home or back yard.
