yes like i said every ghostbuster will have to face that that part of the whole movies construct but where in the original they knew and understood the need to fight through it with seriousness and science the parody make the cast look like a joke to the point you wouldnt believe them until a ghost was in your face

I never made the claim you said the all female cast was bad, where are you getting that from, you don't need to make this about sexism?

i was making a point about how sony defended the movie by saying all those makeing negative comments are misogynist but yet all the evidence i pointed out none of it had to do with the all female cast the only sexism in this movie is against males when in the first and second movie all were equal it seems like a step back for me

Honestly, I had just woken up a few minutes ago and misread your comments entirely as an attack on the series, instead I see you were just offering decent suggesting for a future sequel and also raised a few solid points regarding the most recent film.

thank you the movie had many chances to be something great but the wouldnt break away from the slapstick and in your face comedy enough to work on any of the problems like the design of the ghost i mean most of them look the same where in the originals there were ghost of all shapes sizes and looks but in this we had 2 original style ghost the rest were humanoid

The Ghostbusters are washed up after defending the city of New York from ghosts, called frauds and hacks and need to get back together to defend new york again from ghosts thanks to a resurgence of ghost activity?
User avatar

only difference is the timeline the people forgot why the ghostbusters were important to them and they have no way to force ghost to come attack the city so unless something major is drawing them near the same thing will happen at the end of ever movie cause there are always non believers who will claim them frauds even in the first movie they were seen as frauds until the ending it's the very prejudice they must face

and i'm pointing out how those arguments dont work the narrative is shot, the comedy is all over the place, the side cast has been made pointless and useless (until they overshadow the secretary he was pointless to the movie in general along with the Chinese delivery man), they ignore the heart of the first 2 movies, and when it doesnt work they claim the fan are misogynist

not once have i made a claim that all female cast is bad but the narrative doesnt work

i mean, if i had time, money, a crew, and a camera i did write up my own Ghostbusters 3 script. it was a pretty cool idea where new age busters HAD to develop new tools and techniques because they were fighting the ghost of Egon Since Harold Ramis died he was the buster of Choice who knew all the tricks of the trade

see lets show the big movie companies that if they dont get their shit together we'll just make our own so far with ZERO budget we already have an opening scene and a possible script we have a chance lets not waste them

not likely. Not anytime soon, maybe in 10 years. Aykroid, Reitman, and Hudson were onboard for a new ghostbusters and they are all angry and against the new one. And don't get me started on how little a chance for murray to even look at it.

its sad to say, but this movie and the really really shitty "tie in" game killed any chance for any more ghostbusters content, at the very least killed any chance for good content

not if we can pitch it right and declare this ghostbusters a parody that holds no value to the original and ask them if they would be willing to follow the story line posted above for a chance that the ghostbuster can really return under their guidance

never give up hope hell a fan made the perfect opening scene already fans can come together to make most of the movie all they need are the remaining original actors to support it and it can be green-lit
