idk i haven't gotten quite that far i guess. they are in the forest on skypeia

a couple of parasite innocence (parts of one innocence but since they manifest differently they tend to be called different names)
one in my ear, something along the lines of the God's ear, because it is a small one, it simply allows me to hear farther and tell truth from lies, you get the gyst.
the other one is attached to my shoulders. it is named Masked Angel and looks like a trench coat/cloak that hangs down. when activated it manifests as large angel wings. it also has a sort of hood attached that has the ability to when i activate the "shroud of darkness" ability i become invisible to the eye. now you ind of see where i get the "masked angel" idea. also the wings themselves give me the ability to fly faster than the speed of light. this of course cannot be used with shroud of darkness, since that renders me invisible and then going the speed of light is very visible.

equipment: i technically only have one but it also manifest in different ways. however since it is equipment the separate manifestations are still the same name. (each different manifestation has a name, but... anyway im gettting to that) the overall name is "the Armor of God" basically each separate manifestation is a different peice, the sword of the spirit, or the shield of faith, etc and then etched into each one of them is the specific verse of the bible that calls it by name... just because that would look badass anyway.

my parasite type is moving cross shaped innocence that i could use for close combat, i.e. say i'm attacked from behind a cross will appear on my back and absorb the impact, and transfer all the energy into myself where i can focus it to other uses

the equipment is it's brother, a sword in the shape of a cross it like it's brother absorbs energy but unstead it comsumes the energy

actually i am but i prefer the mangas of any series to the anime. basically the story comes across better. it seems harder to follow on screen to me. the other thing i like to do is balance my mangas. so one piece is a very funny story where-as dgrayman (the other one i need to catch up on) is a bit more depressing. i usually read them together to keep my mood balanced. also i dressed up (unsuccessfully) as luffy for halloween last year. this year i am going to do the Doctor. but not specifically any one doctor. i have my own oc, based off of some unconfirmed whovian lore. anyway, why do you ask about one peice? is it because of how much i speak?

10 til 1 here, but i started at about 10 so i have been sipping on this for a while. it was tasty. i am technically not of age yet, but my grandparents still allow me to drink some on days that i don't have work the day after. since i am young and don't have much experience with it. and i want the "drink" to last i usually try to make my own mixes. my last one was a "xing tea" a local brand of canned iced tea that is flavored. it is the only one i like because only their blueberry, mango ad pomegranate flavors taste any good to me. so i tried the mango one mixed with a bit of my grandma's margaritaville mix. passionfruit flavored margarita, mixed with tea. it was tasty but i like the vodka better. it has more of a kick and the kick is a but different than the margarita. so far the mello yellow with orange flavored vodka is my favorite mix i have ever done. out of you know, not that many but still.

gunmen kept back about 7 feet his buddy in my face, i COULD have grabbed the guy in front and pulled him around like a shield but the gunmen would most likey fire and either hit ok kill someone or his own friend so i played it off so noone would get hurt and at the time i didnt know about the shotting

hmm. see depending on the situation, i would say i would have tried to take the out, i mean you were there so i assume you were able to judge them. but if you had fought them, even just to the ground, they wouldn't have gotten away, i mean there is the line between if they touch you first, but if you had brought them down, the guy down the road wouldn't have been shot. i'd say... if they pulled a gun on you ( i assume they didn't by your wording of the story) it would have been easy enough to disarm them, call the cops, then not press charges so that it kind of passes some kindness on to them. and who knows maybe they would have needed to be shown that.

mine was strictly self defense. so like we are taught realistic situations. with the idea that the average joe on the street trying to mug me doesn't know any specific art form i can predict his movements and thus finish the fight quickly, avoiding going to the ground. keeping the fight upright i can keep going but as soon as i am on the ground i have no experience. of course that is part of why i beat my friend so much. i know his style is very heavy on grabs, locks and grappling. so i keep the sparring short, in close and off of the ground at all costs.

another thign i noticed about it is that it is a very dirty fighting style. we are focused on getting yourself out of the situation. basically at any cost. so we definitely focus on face (nnose and eyes) shots, and groin shots. another part of the body one of my favorite to exploit is the kidneys. kidneys are fun...

the school is through my church they actually are not really too much about the money because they only charge 35 per individual or 50 for the entire family (2 or 5 people, really doesn't matter) that pricing thing of course being the reason it is held in the foyer of my church because the rent on somewhere more "dojoish" would drive the costs up. if you want to really understand our style though watch the original karate kid trilogy. the style mr miyagi uses is actually our style. i found this out because in the 3rd movie he is doing a kata that i learned. a very specific kata that is one of the more focused on ones in our form. it is called goju-ryu. it even originates in okinawa (like in the movie) ryu meaning go-meaning hard (and also apparently the number 5) and ju meaning soft (and apparently 10, never realized that until i split them up writing them down...) and ryu meaning style. this being because the style utilizes both hard movements such as kicks and punches, and soft styles such as palm heel pushes and may of our blocks are considered soft styles. it is a very close in fighting style. i have a friend who does judo/jiujitsu is a black belt and i have sparred him about 8 times. i beat him 6 out of those 8 times because i am good at reading my opponent (part of the goju way) and also because judo doesn't seem to focus as much on the close in fighting. so basically i win because i can't more combos out faster and better than he can get me to the ground. when we spar i essentially tap out as soon as i am on the ground because i have never been tried in self defense on the ground. so when we spar one of our rules is specifically that if he gets me to the ground he has won that spar. because we are friends we have basically agreed we don't really want anyone passing out...

i researched it they did look kind of arabic but they are listed on the avatar wikia as being dual dao swords forged in such a way as to be sheathed in one scabard. that was the other thing that appealed to me about them. the thinness and light weight of a sword. with two for more defence, and the thickness and weight behind the "sweet spot" of the blade for the strength it needs. but like i said, at this point it doesn't matter because i have no-one to teach me how to wield them properly.

basically the main sensei went on vacation last summer and i corrected the substittute sensei (she was a black belt who had just gotten it a few months prior but she was basically the second highest ranking in the class). she got some terminology wrong and i like an idiot asked for "clarification" in class. when she let us off for break i tried to apologize as i knew what i had done wrong. she wouldn't let me. i understand this is about respect but i was trying to make it right. anyway i was silent for the rest of class. afterwards i was waiting for my ride home after class and she came up to me while i was waiting and she confronted me about it. she told me it was disrespectful gave teh wwhole schpiel. i knew i all of that and had tried to make it right before but she wouldn't let me. my ride came and as i was leaving she called to me and said, " Oh by the way, i am right"
so the next week comes around and the main sensei is back. he had spoken with my mother and he wanted to speak with me before class started.
problem # 1 -when he spoke with me the other sensei was present, i don't feel that is the appropriate way to handle the situation as he has only heard her side of it and i never got the chance to tell him.
problem # 2 - he told my mom that i was right, the other sensei was wrong.

so all of this is fine i could deal with that and the punishment he gave me ( 1 month probation, i wasn't allowed in the dojo for a month)

but problem # 3 is why i haven't returned
User avatar #232 - dracory (05/30/2013) [-]
no thats the subs mistake, respect and humility are both traits of a black belt correction should be requested,

problem # 3 was that to begin with respect has to be earned for me. the other sensei had definitely worked long and hard for that position and everything and i saw some of the things she did and i respected her up until this point. but what made me lose all respect for her and want to not return to the dojo was that the other sensei who was wrong had explicitly made me feel like a fool, telling me that she was without a doubt right and when we found out that i actually had the information right she never apologized or tried to make anything right. if she had tried at all even in the slightest i would have been fine with it but as soon as she declined to apologize i lost all of my respect for her. and i cannot take orders from a person i don't respect.

problem # 3 was that to begin with respect has to be earned for me. the other sensei had definitely worked long and hard for that position and everything and i saw some of the things she did and i respected her up until this point. but what made me lose all respect for her and want to not return to the dojo was that the other sensei who was wrong had explicitly made me feel like a fool, telling me that she was without a doubt right and when we found out that i actually had the information right she never apologized or tried to make anything right. if she had tried at all even in the slightest i would have been fine with it but as soon as she declined to apologize i lost all of my respect for her. and i cannot take orders from a person i don't respect.

one dual ended lightsaber, deep blue blades, similar to the kind darth maul had (save for the color) but with one major difference, the two ends split into a dual wield light saber of equal length ( probably a nice medium length blade) it would be my primary i imagine because the bo staff is the weapon i currently know how to use ( i took karate and we started with simple bo staff katas) and the dual wield split saber would be similar to my preferred fighting method once i learn how to. this carried iin a sling across my back

one longer ligthsaber with a hilt similar to obi-wan kenobis with a blue blade. because it pays to have a spare in case your old one gets broken or stole or knocked away. also because the single blade is more classy and more ceremonial so it would be something i carry at my right hip.

and two short blade tri-sabers with one of them dark purple blades and the other one with neon green blades. the two tri-sabers would be specifically for throwing. these carried in a small bag on the opposite hip to my ceremonial saber, so they are more easily and accurately thrown.

so now that the you know that the number and style of sabers is only limited by your imagination, anything to add to yours?

i ment primary blade i'm an instructor in martial arts and i specialized in weapons in my class the 5 of us each mastered a different weapon i had single/dual tai chi swords, the bo master was the youngest in our class and the shortest yet the best with a weapon bigger than him, the nunchuc specialist (hit himself by mistake during his form) need 12 stitches he didnt even notice and finished his form, the carl with his kamas (think mikey from tmnt) and our boken exspert moved so fast the blade disappeared even in the vdeo tape.

ahh and to the jedi second thing i would think they would try to pull more out of the darkness and teach them to controll and wield their power

i know what kamas are, where did you get mikey though? mikey uses dual nunchuku, none of them use kamas, raph uses scis, donnie uses a bo, and leo dual wields the katanas. the one i wanted to master (but i had some situations that forced me to quit that dojo before i could achieve the belt required to do so) was dual dao/broadswords like prince zuko form avatar. the form and synchronous appealed to me. his plight appealed to me because it kind of reminded me of my relationship with my sister.

hey i had to post the story in two comments. but there it is i suppose you'll probably be at least a tad interested about it.
User avatar #228 - faithrider (05/30/2013) [-]
i researched it they did look kind of arabic but they are listed on the avatar wikia as being dual dao swords forged in such a way as to be sheathed in one scabard. that was the other thing that appealed to me about them. the thinness and light weight of a sword. with two for more defence, and the thickness and weight behind the "sweet spot" of the blade for the strength it needs. but like i said, at this point it doesn't matter because i have no-one to teach me how to wield them properly.

basically the main sensei went on vacation last summer and i corrected the substittute sensei (she was a black belt who had just gotten it a few months prior but she was basically the second highest ranking in the class). she got some terminology wrong and i like an idiot asked for "clarification" in class. when she let us off for break i tried to apologize as i knew what i had done wrong. she wouldn't let me. i understand this is about respect but i was trying to make it right. anyway i was silent for the rest of class. afterwards i was waiting for my ride home after class and she came up to me while i was waiting and she confronted me about it. she told me it was disrespectful gave teh wwhole schpiel. i knew i all of that and had tried to make it right before but she wouldn't let me. my ride came and as i was leaving she called to me and said, " Oh by the way, i am right"
so the next week comes around and the main sensei is back. he had spoken with my mother and he wanted to speak with me before class started.
problem # 1 -when he spoke with me the other sensei was present, i don't feel that is the appropriate way to handle the situation as he has only heard her side of it and i never got the chance to tell him.
problem # 2 - he told my mom that i was right, the other sensei was wrong.

so all of this is fine i could deal with that and the punishment he gave me ( 1 month probation, i wasn't allowed in the dojo for a month)

but problem # 3 is why i haven't returned

no thats the subs mistake, respect and humility are both traits of a black belt correction should be requested,

User avatar #233 - faithrider (05/30/2013) [-]
the school is through my church they actually are not really too much about the money because they only charge 35 per individual or 50 for the entire family (2 or 5 people, really doesn't matter) that pricing thing of course being the reason it is held in the foyer of my church because the rent on somewhere more "dojoish" would drive the costs up. if you want to really understand our style though watch the original karate kid trilogy. the style mr miyagi uses is actually our style. i found this out because in the 3rd movie he is doing a kata that i learned. a very specific kata that is one of the more focused on ones in our form. it is called goju-ryu. it even originates in okinawa (like in the movie) ryu meaning go-meaning hard (and also apparently the number 5) and ju meaning soft (and apparently 10, never realized that until i split them up writing them down...) and ryu meaning style. this being because the style utilizes both hard movements such as kicks and punches, and soft styles such as palm heel pushes and may of our blocks are considered soft styles. it is a very close in fighting style. i have a friend who does judo/jiujitsu is a black belt and i have sparred him about 8 times. i beat him 6 out of those 8 times because i am good at reading my opponent (part of the goju way) and also because judo doesn't seem to focus as much on the close in fighting. so basically i win because i can't more combos out faster and better than he can get me to the ground. when we spar i essentially tap out as soon as i am on the ground because i have never been tried in self defense on the ground. so when we spar one of our rules is specifically that if he gets me to the ground he has won that spar. because we are friends we have basically agreed we don't really want anyone passing out...
User avatar #234 - dracory (05/30/2013) [-]
i was taught real life combat vs. weapons, multiple opponents, and ground combat, was a ruff school lucky i made it as far as i have
User avatar #235 - faithrider (05/30/2013) [-]
mine was strictly self defense. so like we are taught realistic situations. with the idea that the average joe on the street trying to mug me doesn't know any specific art form i can predict his movements and thus finish the fight quickly, avoiding going to the ground. keeping the fight upright i can keep going but as soon as i am on the ground i have no experience. of course that is part of why i beat my friend so much. i know his style is very heavy on grabs, locks and grappling. so i keep the sparring short, in close and off of the ground at all costs.

another thign i noticed about it is that it is a very dirty fighting style. we are focused on getting yourself out of the situation. basically at any cost. so we definitely focus on face (nnose and eyes) shots, and groin shots. another part of the body one of my favorite to exploit is the kidneys. kidneys are fun...

hmm. see depending on the situation, i would say i would have tried to take the out, i mean you were there so i assume you were able to judge them. but if you had fought them, even just to the ground, they wouldn't have gotten away, i mean there is the line between if they touch you first, but if you had brought them down, the guy down the road wouldn't have been shot. i'd say... if they pulled a gun on you ( i assume they didn't by your wording of the story) it would have been easy enough to disarm them, call the cops, then not press charges so that it kind of passes some kindness on to them. and who knows maybe they would have needed to be shown that.

you have some excellent points, but deadpool , part of the point of being him is the attitude, or i might as well be wolverine, but i suppose without the memories, that could be okay... also i think the jedi might be suspect of any sith lord being retrained in their presence. what i mean to say is that jedi often defect from the order and join the sith, but rarely does the reverse happen because sith crave power and part of being a jedi is the humility to only use power when there is no other option. the jedi tend to think things through before rushing in to any situation rather than go in guns blazing. that is the advantage of both i suppose. with the jedi you are able to control your power and emotions, while with the sith you have the strength and power to do so, and the shroud of the darkness as your ally. basically with the jedi training you can see a situation as it plays out before it happens and be ready, while with the sith training you have the strength power and stealth to complete it.
