OT is seen as a monument to the ancient cultures largely, and is obviously metaphorical in many senses. All of the stories have a meaning, and a message.

Most of the messages being "if you dont follow my word im going to rape your daughter kill your firstborn son and flood the world".

I've debated with a lot of respectable Atheists, and I've noticed that they have few things in common. These Atheists are not militant, nor are they arrogant, a problem that in my experience plagues most of their intellectual elite.
I have been lucky to, in many cases, establish a mutual respect with these individuals and take part in engaging debate. I could for instance compile a list of interesting arguments and comments that have put my knowledge and intelligence to the test.

Unfortunately, your "reasoning" does not make that list, as it's obvious you're merely spouting off uneducated, unchecked bile at a scapegoat in order to vent your frustration. I lack the context to know why, unfortunately. Perhaps you should actually read the OT. True, there are vulgar aspects to its composure, but there is a lot of beauty in it as well, and one cannot deny that it effectively describes a decent moral framework. If you are unable to accept that, then you are childish and you need to grow up, which I genuinely hope you do (I really do not mean to come across as pretentious).

Anyway, good day to you. And good luck.

Seriously dude, Why is it the first thing the christians do is Ignore the shitty part of the bible and just bandwagon the "beautiful" things.

Give me one book where a form of mass murder/rape/incest/sodomy doesnt occur in the OT and I will admit defeat. However, that is impossible....I could list off the books with the atrocities, but you will just ignore it and say the usual "Dude chill thats the OLD God, i dont take that shit literally, its up for personal interpretation".

And as an FYI, most athiests are non-militant, you just think us strongly voicing our opinions is Militant, but yet a christian woman yelling at me in wal-mart saying im a satan worshipper for listening to metal music is "righteous".

Shall I recite what I just finished saying?

Obviously, I do:
Religion is a scapegoat and is used to justify the bad things we do.

The reason why it's so perfect is because man is naturally religious so they don't need to invent any shit to justify gassing a million jews, it's already there

Even without religion, people won't live happily in a beautiful utopia, nor will things get any better. They will keep inventing other shenanigans to explain their hate for each other.

Pol Pot, the entire Soviet Union and all its related nations, Mao Zedong and his little red army, North Korea, the Kamakaze warriors of the Japanese Empire and everything horrific there of, and many more. All these philosopies/events were directly caused by and based upon an Atheist moral framework.

It's completely retarded to think that the world would be perfect without religion. Perhaps a few aspects would be better without certain religious input, but thinking that this would solve our problems is, frankly speaking, short-sighted, self indulgent and mind nummingly arrogant.

Those are still man-made things. God himself didn't tell people to do things like that. It's societies unwillingness to have an open mind for other beliefs that cause things like that. And then people like you say it's the Lord's fault. :c

Just restating my reply to pepemex. All they did was stand there. They did not riot, they did not prevent entrance into the school, and the campus permitted them to be there. The made no attempt to stop anyone from entering the campus. The WBBC was just too afraid to attempt entering. No one made any threats, they just stood there. That is not a crime, nor is it violating any amendments.
