I see what you mean.I'm not so sure about the charities part, though. How many charities would he have to give infinite money to, and how would the charities actually use that money and such power?

As far as I can comprehend, half of infinity makes somewhat of an asymptote, or perhaps a limit (One of those, I'm not good with math today) resulting in, well, still giving infinite moneys.

I feel like people are thinking of this as they instantly have an infinite amount of money. My understanding is hitting this button would allow you to go to the store, get some groceries, and pull the total out of your wallet, with half that total going to charity. This would happen for every transaction you make. So someone who lives an otherwise completely normal life not in excess wouldn't be making this economy-collapsing deal that people seem to believe it would be.

I forgot to clarify, I emphasized "you" because it specifically gives you, the button pusher, unlimited money, not everybody else. You have all the financial power in the world by pushing the button, so it ending in a dystopian world is a reflection of your choices.
