Dude, we're talking about school boards and my well endowed daddyistrators. They can barely realize then they're having a bowel movement. How can you expect them to understand something as complex as music, shop, basic logic or counting?

Instruments are expensive. Band trips are expensive. They don't generate revenue like sports. It's sad, but it's true. I'm a musician, so it's especially painful to admit. Schools are also funded based on test scores and since band doesn't help that, schools don't have any incentives to keep the band program. Sure, the kids and parents want it, but the school only answers to the almighty dollar.

Pretty much yeah, making fun of fat people while holding a pose that would cause his pants to do the same thing he was pointing out.

Except he actually kept his pants up. Letting your pants sag is slovenly and something he didn't do.

Obviously not, but what does that matter?
#71 - shadowvision (05/01/2016) [-]
Then how do you know that he kept his pants up? That pose, and his weight, it was be incredible if he managed to.

Because he's talked about how disgusting it is when people don't. Also, I have had plenty of overweight to obese friends who have managed to keep their pant up. It's called proper usage of a belt.

Which the person in this photo is doing.

I'll retract my calling the original a hypocrite, he's still an asshole. An asshole with a cause, but he's still an asshole.

I can agree with that. From my short experience in the MTG competition circuit, I can confirm most avid MTG players are assholes.
#75 - shadowvision (05/01/2016) [-]
That's true. I just have a problem with malicious targeted assholery.

I have a problem with that fat ass hypocrite. Mimicry isn't the problem here.

Funding. Schools are nothing but businesses in American. Just like prisons. They don't educate, fix problem behaviors, or have the best interest of their captives in mind. It's all about the almighty dollar, kids be damned.

Their budget tends to get diverted to the sportsball and testing budgets, making them much less engaging/interesting.
