>being dumb enough to not check your membership left every couple of days
>not having 2,5 mil laying around as cash

if you really are that stupid and have a bit of cash left, go buy mind runes in varrock, unpack them and sell them to the GE. you can make up to 400+k an hour. though for 400+k you need to keep up the speed and manually unpack all packs with fast clicking.
if you choose to "afk" it will only get you like 175k an hour.
in order to get starting money first for that, buy anti dfire shields from the runeplatebody guy and sell them to the GE. you can also make around 500k with a budget of 100k in 80 minutes.

Do you actually want that? Or is it because it's "funny" and it's "cool" to like him? Genuine question, not trying to be a dick or anything, just curious, if you really want Trump in Power can you briefly explain why?
User avatar
#202 - demigodofmadness (05/13/2016) [-]
I want Trump as president for his immigration policies. Now as far as immigrants coming from most places I don't really care but I really don't want a candidate pushing for us to take in Syrian refugees. And as I understand both Sanders and Clinton want us to take in Syrian refugees, whereas Trump is firmly against it.

Really what it comes down to is that if someone I loved was hurt by extremist Muslims that got into the country by sneaking in with refugees and all I had to do was vote for the dude with a wig, then I'd probably never forgive myself.
User avatar
#206 - jimmycrank (05/13/2016) [-]
I understand what you mean, But banning Refugees not only doesn't guarantee safety from Terrorists (let's not forget the last major Terrorist incident was well before the refugee crisis) but it does mean some innocent Syrians will likely die due to not being able to escape the Conflict.

I understand the fear, If someone said to me allowing refugees into your country means that there is a 0.001% chance you or someone you love will be killed by a terrorist I'd say fuck them, stop them all coming in! But I don't believe it increases the chance of a Terrorist attack, They've found ways to attack us, They will always look for ways to attack us. We just have to stay strong!
User avatar
#207 - demigodofmadness (05/13/2016) [-]
I'm more worried about the extremist muslims who follow sharia law who aren't terrorists, that's what Europe is seeing right now. Violent crime rates have gone up, some of it is due to terrorists sneaking in with the refugees, but there's more to it. They come from a place where violence is accepted.

And I know that we're Americans and it's always been our duty to help other countries, but in this case, I believe our duty is to our fellow countrymen.

But I understand where your coming from, we're both coming from sympathetic points of view, we both want to protect people, and either one of us might be right.

Trump is the only candidate against NAFTA and TPP, that alone should give you an idea about where his allegiances lay, if you don't know about either, the long and short of it is, NAFTA is the main reason we saw all our US based company's start outsourcing all their factory's and labor to other country's for cheaper labor, lower taxes, etc... TPP is NAFTA on crack with a lot more stipulations and benefits for big business interests while continuing to fuck the little guy. TPP will affect everything from international intellectual property rights, to food and health regulations, to internet censorship, and much, much more.

I encourage you all to read up on it, the days ahead are grim indeed.

I think a more important thing to keep in mind is your own understanding of the tax system. If you can (objectively, mind you) decide whether or not you truly understand the way things work and the predicted impact of each candidate's tax plan, then I don't think it really matters what anyone else thinks, ya feel me?
User avatar
#216 - ohgodmysides (05/13/2016) [-]
My understanding:
Hilary -> Doesn't change much (only taxes rich people more)
Bernie -> Increases taxes to make general medicare (making it cheaper in the progress)
Ted -> Lowers taxes and makes them simpler, helps rich a lot and will throw America into dept
Trump -> Makes taxes even MORE easy, throws America into even more dept.

I don't understand economics very well, but the shared medicare and VAT seem good, whereas increasing the defecit that much seems bad. Like really scary-bad. But I like hearing opposing views to further my understanding.

Well, to that end, I suggest taking a good look at this site:

taxfoundation.org/comparing-2016-presidential-tax-reform-proposals

Hopefully, it will explain everything in more depth.

I will say right off the bat that Bernie's plan is objectively the worst tax plan, because it involves the largest tax brackets applicable, i.e, his smallest tax bracket is larger than any other candidate's largest tax bracket.Of course, that's because he's gonna need a ridiculous amount of money to fund his programs.
User avatar
#219 - ohgodmysides (05/13/2016) [-]
Thanks for the site. I am no native speaker, nor home to an english speaking country, so I have troubles understanding the specific words (and applications), but it's starting to clear up.

However, I don't understand your sentence.
"his smallest tax bracket is larger than any other candidate's largest tax bracket"
Bernie's smallest tax bracket seems 12.2%, Trumps largest is 25%, Hillary's largest is 43,6%? Or what are you referring to? Do you mean for the lowest bracket it's the highest (0%-10%-10%-12,2% (Te-Tr-Hi-Be)?

Also, I get that a general healthcare takes a lot of money, but isn't just... not collecting taxes and increasing the defecit by a few trillion worse?
User avatar
#220 - Kanoah (05/13/2016) [-]
I was referring to the Income Tax Rates on Ordinary Income, it should be the first box.

-Hillary Clinton plans to add a 4% surtax on an income over $5 million.
-Bernie Sanders plans on establishing additional tax rates of 37%, 43%, 38%, and 52%, alongside increasing all other tax brackets by 2.2%.
-Trump plans on establishing four new tax brackets of 0%, 10%, 20%, and 25%

In regards to the average person's income, Bernie's plan is what's going to cost the most money to just about everybody. As for my previous post, I totally messed up my statement, so it's my fault that it didn't make any sense.
User avatar
#282 - talldumbdork (05/13/2016) [-]
A tax of 52% is fucking ludicrous. I don't care if you are a billionaire, that is half of what you worked for.
User avatar
#297 - Kanoah (05/14/2016) [-]
Which is exactly why I think Bernie is a nutso fucking socialist
User avatar
#223 - ohgodmysides (05/13/2016) [-]
I mean.... yes Bernie would ask more taxes of everyone, but
* Standard deduction stays the same, protecting the lowest earning part of the country
* No medical bills would save everyone money (and healthcare for everyone is generally cheaper)
* The upper part would pay more, but they can also afford it

How else would you afford general healthcare? Or are you against it?

And I still think that slightly increasing taxes for everyone is better than having trillions of defecit. I mean, yeah, it's nice for everyone for a while, but in the longrun, doesn't it fuck over the country?
User avatar
#283 - talldumbdork (05/14/2016) [-]
Just because someone can afford to give the money they earned away, doesn't mean they should have to. 30% tax on rich guy is already going to be much more money than 30% on middle class. Taxing rich 50% just because you can seems pretty unethical. I'm not defending rich, I think tax loopholes and bailouts are awful and allow rich to escape taxation we do need. But taxing them much higher precentages because we can is unethical to me, especially for honest businesses that worked hard with innovative concepts to get where they are.
User avatar
#284 - ohgodmysides (05/14/2016) [-]
Current Tax Plan:
230k+ -> 33%
411k+ -> 35%
464k+ -> 43,4%
Bernie Tax Plan:
230k+ -> 35,2%
250k+ -> 39,2%
500k+ -> 45,2%
2m+ -> 50,2%
10m+ -> 54,2%

Sorry if you already know, I just wanted to clarify (also for later use).
Also don't forget that you don't get taxed 50% of the 2m you earn, but 50% of what you earn MORE than 2m (maybe you already knew, if so, sorry again).

I don't know if it's ethical to tax rich people more. I don't know if you can easily compare how "hard" some money is earned. Some money was earned through luck and passed down for generations, some people just had better starting positions. I sure do believe that being on the top of the spectrum means you need at least SOME outstanding skill, but...
This leads back to a very basic discussion whether rich people should pay more AT ALL. The most healthy societies seem to work that way. One could say that with great powers/moneys come great responsibilities within a society. I don't know if rewarding successful behaviour is more important or spreading the wealth is better to create a better society.

All I know is that Hilton is a mean hag, but her tax policy seems reasonable, Sanders might have fallen to the SJW, but promotes universal healthcare (which America seems to need) and Trump seems like a loveable idiot, but presented programs that will create trillions of defecit.

Another big issue that almost nobody pays attention to is a completely different thought process. Americans think differently from Europeans; socialized healthcare, to many people, doesn't make sense because part of the entire culture is being successful and earning your own bread, and if someone else fails, that's their own fault. Of course it's not fair, but it's simply a huge part of our nation's culture.
User avatar
#235 - ohgodmysides (05/13/2016) [-]
That seems so explain why people don't like it,
but not why it couldn't work or wouldn't be better.
User avatar
#230 - Kanoah (05/13/2016) [-]
I personally am against it, but I'm a Republican and I try to disagree with it on both an economic basis and an ideology basis, if that's the correct word.

The problem we're having in this situation is that it's really hard to estimate the actual costs and benefits associated with socialized healthcare because it hasn't been enacted on any nation the size of the U.S. We're absolutely massive, and any system currently in use can't be copy/pasted because they're all specifically created for that country with its own social and economic needs. Russia is the closest candidate, and they have half of our population and a system that has had a myriad of problems since it's inception.

In terms of our national debt, the problem there is that so many people misunderstand and misconstrue the reality of our debt impact (even me, unfortunately) that it's just as difficult to effectively use in an argument, because everybody has a different truth that they use as fact.
User avatar
#234 - ohgodmysides (05/13/2016) [-]
I wouldn't compare it to Russia, because their healthcare system is just... weird. And riddled with alternative medicine, like aura treatment (wtf?). But why not compare it to Canada? They seem to be culturally close and not too different in size and doing fine.

However, I of course am no specialist on this issue, but with Canada and videos like this, I am positive that universal healthcare makes sense www.youtube.com/watch?v=wMuXcuudvCc

Dept is complicated. As far as I see it, it makes sense to create dept to get a country out of an economical crisis, whereas it's bad to create it on the longrun. And just lowering the taxes for everyone, especially rich people, and bump up the deficit by a few trillions doesn't seem good. It appears to me like a railway to a financial desaster. But feel free to show me why this might to be a good idea in the longrun, or why it's needed in short terms.
