Having read it countless time I can assure you that is not the case. Divorce however, it hurts every layer of society, I say why marry at all if you aren't 100% sure, better to wait then to just end in divorce anyway.
User avatar #53 - ninjaroo (10/20/2014) [-]
People change, mate. You can be 100% sure and have things change later. It's not pretty, but it's a fact.
#55 - daddyownsyou (10/20/2014) [-]
I don't accept that excuse. I have been married for ten years and I will be married until death does us part because I was careful enough to marry a family minded woman who loves me and shares my core values and dedication, for anything less one should not marry. 99.99999999% of marriage problems occur because A) women have been taught they don't have to submit and adapt to their Husband and B) because men have been taught that they are not 100% responsible for the care and protection of their wive and families for life.

Please, tell me more about how your marriage represents all marriages, or how marriages should be.
#61 - daddyownsyou (10/21/2014) [-]
Ok, sure. All marriages should be what marriage was designed to be, a LIFELONG uniting of a man and a woman (or women) into a permanently bonded, exclusive and loving unit. Anything less should not be called marriage.
User avatar #62 - ninjaroo (10/21/2014) [-]
Implying that marriage has always been lifelong
Implying marriage was designed by one person or one group of people
Implying that even if that was the original design it should hold weight today

>man and multiple women
>exclusive
Pick one
#63 - daddyownsyou (10/21/2014) [-]
Yeah, it is and always has been meant to be a lifelong exclusive unifying bond between one man and at least one wife (or as many simultaneous wives as he wants and can support), and yes, it's original design does and always will carry the only weight. Nothing has changed except mankind's level of degeneracy, abstraction from nature and the ingenuity of self delusion. Marriage is what it has always been, anything else is should not even be called marriage.

exactly.
User avatar #38 - TheBearerOfBadNews (10/16/2014) [-]
I'd like to point out that all of you are essentially correct. cancer is not a predefined condition. Rather it is a predefined circumstance that a cell may find itself in. If we take the cell and use a car as an analogy we can break cancer down in to a series of events. A cell, much like a car has an accelerator (cell growth and division), breaks (cell cycle checkpoints) and airbags/safety features (signalling feedback mechanisms). Cancer occurs when a combination of these systems fail. The accelerator may become stuck down where the cell is unable to switch off growth signalling and as result continuously attempts to grow and divide even if it is inappropriate. The breaks may fail and a cell is unable to regulate its pace of growth and division or is unable to detect if something has gone wrong. These first two potential circumstances can occur separately or together, but it is the third event that truly decides if a cell becomes cancerous. The failure of the essential mechanisms within a cell responsible for detecting aberrant signalling and DNA damage essentially allows a cell to evade the in built ability to kill itself (apoptosis). One such mechanism is p53 signalling. p53 is known as the guardian of the genome and if its regulation fails then the cell is unable to detect alterations to its gene expression leding to abberant growth, signalling and DNA damage.

when you need a solid answer, post a stupid one and wait for the right one to pop up.
User avatar #41 - TheBearerOfBadNews (10/16/2014) [-]
the thing is even if a solid answer does come along many prefer the stupid one...
