Ah, awesome! I had to do some scenarios with kids between the end of 6th and the star of 9th in a form of summer camp for 'gifted and intelligent' kids. As in, they were either smart as HELL ... or their parents had gifted wallets.

Still. Primary / Elementary is that kinda special time where you can see the good parts of kids. Have you had anything really bad go down? Or has it mostly been smooth sailing? also do you handle a specific grade? or does your school work on a cycle?

And I'm American, if it's important. <8D

I work at a school in a low SES area, so there is a LOT of behavioural problems. Most of those kids are just really starved of any sort of attention, though, and so they act out just to get some, even if it's negative.

It's not all bad, of course, but it's just that sort of stuff that sticks in my memory. We've also got lots of really bright kids that are doing great, despite all the problems going on in the classrooms. I was teaching year 1 and 2 this year (split stage class), which is where I've done most of my teaching. I've been given the Rural Area Relief position now, though, which means I'll be kind of like a full time casual (relief) teacher, which I'm really looking forward to.

I'm a primary teacher (you'd call it Elementary if you're in the US, I'm Australian)

One hundred AND one = 100.1
One hundred one = 101
This isn't German, you don't say "and" between numbers.
User avatar #122 - stultum (09/06/2013) [-]
Depends on in which English-speaking country you live.
User avatar #132 - Silver Quantum (09/06/2013) [-]
the number itself doesn't need any conjunction word (and). it's optional, not necessary
User avatar #115 - wofflemaster (09/06/2013) [-]
Or just one hundred one, one hundred two, one hundred three, etc...
it depends on how you say it.
