nothing wrong with waiting, My first sexytime was at the age 17, 6 months later I met Elizabeth. I am 23.

No disrespect if you believe in Christianity, but I believe religious schools are the worst both when it comes to bullying and to how the teachers teach and cope with the students, to focused on religion and to little on Human Growth.

People will take on you for being different up until a breaking point where you just seem so "Secure" that you're switching over to the "Cool" side.
Ice breaker for me would be international travels, my quirks would lead to akwardness, my behaviour would remove it.

Eg: 16, unsure and curious, Dated a guy, it lasted a couple of months and the guy was nice enough till he had a freak out. Experience paid off, how many people do you know can tell you they are Confirmed straight, but can still kiss guys cheeks in jest for the amusement of their behaviour?
User avatar
#1194 - dengekisushi (11/07/2011) [-]
I don't have a problem with waiting, but I feel as though my insecurity will get in the way, and it scares me, because it leads me to believe I'll be forever alone lol. There's this guy I'm pretty much in love with, and it feels like it's falling apart. Not saying it's because I'm not putting out for him (even though I'm 18 and he's 22) but I had considered possibly going all the way with him if we ever reached that point :l

Eh, I don't believe in God or anything like that; I also hated my Ethics teacher because he flat-out said that anybody who isn't Catholic is going to Hell and it automatically wrong.

I'm happy I never went to the "cool" side, in the means of popularity. My "cool" place is with my awkward, nerdy friends, and I'm just fine with that (:

I was never curious, but I did kiss a girl for the first time a couple of week ago, and it definitely confirmed that I'm straight lol.
User avatar
#1225 - Shramin (11/07/2011) [-]
Ah that's a choice only you can make, while its true that its a lot easier to deal with the concept once you've actually had sex, you also don't want to lose the chance of having it with someone who really cares (who will be careful and such).

Thats one of the issues with to firm belief in education, happens with people denying God to, Religion GTFO of my education unless I am taking religion class or social class.

By "Cool" and not Cool I pretty much only meant Tolerable and no longer bully worthy. Better to be left alone then bullied. When 15 and on the last day of school in Singapore I lit a cigarette and one of the guys who had given me shit said "Hey you're actually cool?" Angry me was Angry xD. I've Stopped smoking since, unless its a special occation.

Confirming things about yourself is the best thing that can be done, Know what you like, what you care about and what you can do, wether you have any limits or not, and with that knowledge you can get your self confidence to peak. unless you try to be the best without working for it, then it'll just make you cry xD.
User avatar
#1234 - dengekisushi (11/07/2011) [-]
I just wish I knew what his problem has been for the past two months; I'm so into him and I was hoping we would have something more than what we did. It scares me to think that maybe I wasn't all he thought I would be or something. I tend to over think things lol.

Yeah, it was required for me to take an Ethics and Morality class, and I've never wanted to punch a teacher in the face so badly before.

Ohhhhh, I see what you mean now by "cool" xD But it seemed that when I transferred to the Catholic school for my Sophomore/Junior years, the bullying stopped for the most part, probably because nobody knew me lol. It was nice, but I was miserable there anyways.

I've been learning more about myself in the past couple of years than I have any other year of my life, and it's helping with a lot of things :P
User avatar
#1256 - Shramin (11/07/2011) [-]
Best thing to do is talk to him about it, ask him about the relationship and whatnot, you know him best so I can't tell you how. Be aware that it might seem off not because you aren't right for him but possibly because he isn't right for you and you have noticed you own change.

Being lonely is worse then being bullied, at least then you have attention and can occasionally talk to people.

Good :) Try new things every week!
User avatar
#1269 - dengekisushi (11/07/2011) [-]
I did ask him about it a couple of weeks ago...the problem is that he said "idk maybe" to whether or not his feelings for me have changed. He also said he hadn't been feeling like himself at all, and I had noticed that. But the fact that he wouldn't give me a straight yes or no answer is what is stressing me out the most about him. I don't know if I should assume his feelings changed and that I should move on, or if I should hold out for a little longer on the off chance his feelings haven't changed. It sucks lol.

I sometimes feel lonely because I don't vent as much as I should. And I don't vent as much as I should because I always have the feeling like I'm being a nuisance to people with my complaining lol.
User avatar
#1278 - Shramin (11/07/2011) [-]
Demand a straight answer from him, if he keeps ignoring the issue then it is probably time to move on. Luckily the world is full of bachelors (Hell I met Liz while living in london, and now I am in Canada).

Thing is it annoys a lot of people when you randomly vent, so it feels like you never can, and blogging doesn't work. Best thing to do is just find people online, use Omegle for when nobody you know is around, and look for Good friends online that you can always talk to about whatever. Don't listen to anyone saying an Internet friendship can't be as real as a physical friendship, its pretty much pen pal but more often. Some of my best friends were known online before IRL.
User avatar
#1289 - dengekisushi (11/07/2011) [-]
I need the balls to ask him again; it's hard to do so when we see each other at work every day; I hate awkward atmospheres lol. I'll grow a pair eventually, I just need somebody to beat me into submission lol. But I really hope things can work out; I've never liked a guy this much before.

I never randomly vent to people; I usually let them start venting first before I do xD Because I know that they'll be annoyed if I do it randomly; I always need an opening for everything I say and do, and it kind of sucks sometimes, thus explains why I can't have the balls to confront the guy I like lol. A lot of my really good friends are online too. Sucks that we can't meet in person, but I'm just happy to have them.

I'm sure some of your online friends won't mind if you vent :) and if you are shit out of luck on people to vent to you are welcome to spam my inbox, I tend to respond to vents whenever given (mainly because it gives me the right to vent back should I need too).

Usually its the Least known, Most different people that get targeted.
If you are smarter then average and don't deal well with being bullied you are a target.
If you are average but like to wear pink bracelets and nobody else does you can become a target, followed by people "inventing" new things to bully about.

Glad to hear you are learning how to grasp things, Aim at what you want and forget the rest =D sort off.

Thank you and I am sure we will ^^, we were long distance and we have been together for 5 years (wow long time).

Also, happymigrant.com awesome website for migrants but it also has some life "tips" spread it around :)
User avatar
#1148 - dengekisushi (11/07/2011) [-]
At my school, you were pretty much targeted if you weren't popular (it doesn't help any that I dressed as an emo-wannabe for the longest time lol)
but as my class got older, they matured more and learned to accept our classmates for who they are, and to get along.
I had gone to a Catholic high school for two out of four of my high school years, and it was there that I was teased for being a virgin, which I still am one at almost nineteen years old lol.
But it didn't get to me; I just kind of laughed at the fact that the girl had such little respect for herself.

Wow, five years; my longest relationship--out of two--was six weeks; five years sounds like forever to me xD

I understands completely how it feels to be shattered.
I was a bully victim during my years of school in Norway, I was small and had a foreign name (and angered fast). as luck would have my father got international jobs and I got chances to grow every time we moved.
Now I know I am good, I know I look good and I keep a positive state of mine because its the only way I can deal with things. When I loose the positive outlook I have bout of depression (Generally when alone and Lonely).
I won't be lonely anymore though, I have moved in with My Fiancee and I am getting married on saturday.

Long story short, learn what you are good at and smash it in peoples faces that you are the best at anything you WANT to do. it makes things easier =D.
User avatar
#1112 - dengekisushi (11/07/2011) [-]
I've learned to get better at dealing with what people say about me; it's gotten a lot better since my Freshman year,
and I've changed myself quite a bit, so I know that it's for the better :D
I still don't know why those girls chose me to be their victim; I only barely knew one of them; I have a big target on my forehead lol.

And wow, congratulations on your wedding! :D I hope you two have many long, happy years together, bon chance, mon ami! <33
User avatar
#1134 - Shramin (11/07/2011) [-]

Wow, five years; my longest relationship--out of two--was six weeks; five years sounds like forever to me xD

nothing wrong with waiting, My first sexytime was at the age 17, 6 months later I met Elizabeth.

User avatar
#1294 - Shramin (11/07/2011) [-]
Ah, Dating 101, Never date someone you work with, and never work with someone y ou are dating. of course you're in a predicament and need to make it work xD.

I'm sure some of your online friends won't mind if you vent :) and if you are shit out of luck on people to vent to you are welcome to spam my inbox, I tend to respond to vents whenever given (mainly because it gives me the right to vent back should I need too).

In middle school soccer, I was always told I wasn't good enough; even though it was related to soccer, I took it very personally and started thinking I wasn't good enough for anyone or anything :l
And when I was a Freshman, some girls pranked me into making me think their guy friend really liked me, for about a week, and it broke my heart and completely shattered my ability to trust people as easily as I used to.
I don't know why, but I've always been an easy target for bullying, probably because I never stand up for myself lol.

nothing wrong with waiting, My first sexytime was at the age 17, 6 months later I met Elizabeth.

Haha, it was pretty much inevitable; my supervisors sat me right behind him at work, and that's where it all started xD But our spots are changed a lot at work, and I can request to sit near him or away from him if I want :3 I'll figure it out eventually, aaaaauuuuuuuggggghhhh.

That's very nice to know that you'd be willing to listen, and I would be very much willing to listen to your vents too; I listen to anybody's vents :3

Lol it's all about preference.

But yeah, I just went to my first frat party last night, at Sigma Kai, and wow, I got hammered. I've never grinded so much in my life.
#1176 to #1175 - ofmiceandmen (01/20/2013) [-]
I've actually been to that frat lol one of the times I drove up there for the weekend we went party hopping and stopped by that one for a little bit. There's a lot of agro douchebags at frat parties though. I prefer bar hopping.

That's what I did last night. There's a few good bars here where I live and me and a few friends went to them. There was a small amount of grinding lol

#1177 to #1176 - dengekisushi (01/21/2013) [-]
It's ironic how Sigma Kai has a giant-ass cross in the front of the building, yet there is underage drinking and hookahs in the basement. Regardless, though, it was fun.

I'm not old enough to go bar-hopping yet--I'm just turning 20 on Wednesday--but I probably will try that once I'm out of college or something. Or maybe try that when I go study abroad in Italy next spring.
#1178 to #1177 - ofmiceandmen (01/22/2013) [-]
Yeah I turn 22 in April so I've been doing it for a little bit now. Regular house parties just aren't the same anymore and there aren't any frats where I live anyways. There's a university but no frats. Go figure.

That's not fair :( I've been wanting to study abroad for like my whole life. I probably won't get to seeing as I would have to finance it myself and I have a full time job right now but that's money for when I go back to school.
#1179 to #1178 - dengekisushi (01/22/2013) [-]
I'm excited to study abroad, but I'm going to have to apply the **** out of scholarships. I'm working my ass off this summer so I have my own spending money while I'm in Flourence. I'm studying fashion design, and ISU is huge into studying abroad, and Flourence, Italy is the best place to go for hands-on fashion design. ISU requires you to leave the state at some point during your college career, so I figured I'll just leave the ******* country, haha.
