Pretty unnecessary.
Add weight, slow down the exercise itself, squeeze the muscle. I mean sometimes you can just go ham crazy and it works, but at this point your building endurance, not strength or size.

People who run miles don't have huge quads, only people who squat huge weight do.

I tried with weight but it just didn't work for me. I tried so many thing and the only thing (for abs) that works for me is lot's of reps.
My abs are so much better than a year ago but I also lost some bodyfat.

With the rest, I've got 4 different fases, (I hope I translate these well) the first is hypertrophy, 15-25 reps with light weight, then ability, 8-12 reps with slightly heavier weights, then strenght 5-8 reps and last but not least peaks 1-5 reps.
Every fase is about 6 weeks.
