Hey man, you've spent time vetting out the dishonorable and vain. A man's gotta have a break and relax a bit, I catch you.

I'm friggin' God; you think I forget these things? :3 Enjoy youth and strength. Instill honor and fortitude in those whom you bring forth.

Something like that? I dunno. I go by the seat of my pants. Take it easy then, boss; I got a reality to manage, elsewhere.

It's in the deeper parts of the coding of existence, man; I'm working on it, but I can't just abandon this sweet-ass ' free-will ' mod I installed because some fucks screw it up by being complete obstinate douches.

I've gotten America positioned as far as I can towards taking action, since they're my OP go-to atm, but Obama doesn't want to be a warmonger.

Don't worry. Trump will play the joker card for another four years, I think, and then someone I can utilize will step in, then the middle east might calm down.

Omniscience only goes so far. :| You guys fuck it up with free-will, but like I said? I won't change it. It's too damned interesting. But yeah man, it's getting worked on, continually; I got nothing else to do.

About free will... we cant change the laws of physics or alter the past, so how does free will exist?
User avatar
#13 - lathyrusvii (11/18/2015) [-]
Oh, see? This is why I've liked you through time. Kind of an asshole, for sure, but always with the good questions.

Look, free-will is an invention of the present; the past must remain the past, as-is. Free-will allows action in the moment, to shape and define the future, and that's what I'm aiming for... a pleasant future to aim towards, with a decent-enough present to endure whilst we travel inexorably through time.

Altering the past leads to fuckin' weird errors in space-time, mostly in that of violation of causality, and this is VERY important.

If someone were able to violate causality, they could control the present and the future at once. It would be predetermined, and predestination destroys free-will.

I've made mistakes, even. Humans are endowed with every aspect of Me, including bouts of foolishness. Shit happens, okay? But Bob Ross sums it up ' it's a happy little mistake. '
My mistakes are far lesser, of course ( I'm fuckin' God, ) but that doesn't mean that I'm about to start being a dick to My creation and shutting them down for making mistakes as well.

I'm working on weeding out those who actually enjoy making mistakes from those who honestly, sincerely misappropriate their God-given rights to screw up, and fight to fix them.

It's an exercise in self-reflection, really, but that's a bit more in-depth. I certainly have time if you do, but I'm saying that's a different route.

You asked why we can't change the past? It's because the past -HELPS- define the future, and... if everyone had the ability? It would be chaos.
Chaos of mind is nearly death; I won't abide it.
:3 Anyway. That answer the question, boss, or would you like more rambling? I've only had a part of this Everclear; we can go deeper.

Good philosophy. One last question.

Is sin bad because God says it is? or does God say it is because it is bad?
#15 - lathyrusvii (11/18/2015) [-]
HAH. Man. Seriously? It's why you're in the Bible a few times, and why we were friends in this iteration.

Okay, look... this is the core of existence. I literally cannot be more clear than I am right now, but I will try; weird shit happens, and I'm not above trying to adjust for it.

Communication is God. The behavior of listening is paramount; speaking is important, but knowing precisely for why one speaks is how existence progresses towards the goal.

' Sin, ' as it were, is the behavior of being unfaithful towards a fellow being. You are human. Other humans you encounter are equally human... and it's important for communication to realize that -you would be approximately the same as them- were you raised under similar circumstances.

I aim to improve humanity as a whole, but it happens in stages and steps. That's... relevant, but not quite precisely what you asked, so let me circle back around to it.

' Sin ' is literally ' unfaithfulness. ' What this means is the lack of will to communicate precision in perception... this sort of ties in with the question of ' subject-object. '
Recounting an experience to someone accurately and fully helps to expand and progress reality... to state, as clearly as is possible, one's perception on an experience is to be ' faithful. '

To be ' unfaithful ' is to half-ass explain and speak of an experience, or to fail one way or another in the action of communication. This... THIS is a sin. This is ' unfaithfulness. '

And thought I personally despise such things, it's for a specific reason; I hate details being left out when a person shares experience. It leads to errors, to false expectations... it's a huge hassle, really.

And... it sort of ties in with another fact of reality... ' communication is God, ' you see? And one of the firmest, immovable languages in existence is mathematics. To speak perfectly, precisely one's experience is to speak logically/mathematically about said experience, and to faithfully convey such an idea from one being to another.

... @__@ I know I've gone over a lot of things fairly quickly, and sort of in a haphazard way, but again, if something doesn't make sense, let me know. I'm hear to adjust reality to provide interest and experience... it's a fuckin' wack-ass job, but apparently, someone has to do it.

And it reflects ( lol ) on Me if I accurately convey such an ideal to Creation, so... if you get the drift of at least half of what I'm saying, I can rest happy and work on the other half later.

To recap a last time; sin is bad because it destroys/interferes with communication, and undermines universal progress by declaring something to be ' completely fulfilling ' when it is not.
In short, ' lying is fucking evil and will get more than just the liar killed. '
Does that work, or... :3 should I work from a different angle?

Phineas and Ferb is some real heavy stuff, boss. Perry? He's always on call. Just rounding up that little bastard has me in a constant flux, and constantly has the tri-state-area shut down for one reason or another.

I tried to compensate for the bullshit I inflicted on them ( I was drunk, right? I tried to adjust and help them fit in more appropriately when I was sober... ) but I maybe have buffed them a bit much.

Their sneak skill is ridiculous, etc... I might fix it later, but letting them run rampant seems like an equivalent-enough recompense for creating them as mostly a joke.

It's complicated. He's out there somewhere, but I'll just believe that he's up to defense of ' the greater good ' until I see the reports.

Existence, man. Stuff, everywhere.

Stuff, everywhere.

so you can knock off the first 2, they are biased as hell

the australian one and the businessinsider are the only both i see as legit, and they talk about how US Allies are funding isis... and the Isis leader was funded a while a go, same with the talisban as far as im aware

other are talking about interview with russian people, i take it with a grain of salt, i dont really trust it

the other explained very nicely how isis funds itself, although it is very disturbing....

overall? meh you may be right, you may not be, only think i got out of it is that it needs to stop fast

And in the article explaining how they fund themselves, most of it has to do with profiteering on the instability of the region. We provide that instability. Also, earlier this week, this happened:
