Ich schreib lieber in Englisch, weil ich Deutsche grammatik nie gut konnte.

One way would be to partially refund the debts Greece owes and to suport European investments in Greece and the other countries while actively encouraging spending in said countries to benefit the local economies, thereby increasing their ability to pay the rest of the debts they still owe. Moreover we, as in all Eurozone countries, should adopt a common fiscal policy and create a Fiscal Union to accompany the monetary one, thus avoiding such incidents in the future. This may slightly damage Germany's economy as we depend on many of these countries to buy our crap, instead of making their own, however I think if DER DEUTSCHE MITTELSTAND really is as productive as they always say, we should rebound fairly quickly.
Merkel tries to appease voters who voted for the AFD, and is trying to keep her popularity high, similar to how she reacted to the Fukushima incident by ridiculously clos the majority of our nuclear power plants and ironically switching back to coal, making this Eco-revolution more damaging to the environment than helpful. But I'm getting off-topic.
I believe (personal opinion) Schäuble is similarly trying to show he is a strong politician and wants more power over European affairs, without losing his loyal german voter-base.

I have never commented on this website, for good reason, but as a German and European I wanted to represent the other side of the argument.

The only reason Germany became the economic superpower and export-champion it is today, is because during the 50s we (back then West Germany) received massive amounts of assistance, economical and otherwise, from the USA and West Europe because we were the front to communist Eastern Europe. The Unification of Germany was only possible because other nations agreed to it, under the condition that Germany doesn't become the dominating power in the EU, which it now has.

The reason Greece and the other indebted countries in the EU are broke is because of the banks, not the People. But the People were the ones who had to pay for the bailouts, in the case of Greece, Spain and the others bankrupting the governments, and forcing them to take loans from the IMF and other sources. Germany and France were lucky enough to be able to support the banks without TOO much trouble, though some unpopular cuts and decisions were made on part on the FDP (Liberals), which caused their ratings to plummet.

Due to the fact that Greece and the others couldn't pay their debts the Euro tanked and lost value, which -ironically- increased the demand of European (now mainly German) products in the USA and China, as they were slightly cheaper than before, again reinforcing Germany's export economy. Now Merkel and Schäuble, German financial minister, come into play.

The German government now sees it as It's responsibility to repair the damage caused by Greece and the other's debt and supports packages (more loans) to help them out. These only partially repay earlier loans and -because of regulations set by Merkel and co. to reduce spending and encourage austerity plans- fail to help the Greek economy and only further damage it. This results in further job losses and the Euro tanks again.

Fast forward to the present day, or the last few days actually, and Schäuble proposes a new package, where he demands more control of Greek financial policies and attacks the sovereignty of the Greek Nation. He actually put in as one of the demands a possible forced temporary Greek exit from the Eurozone (no longer use Euro as a currency), and many speculate he only entered this as a point to scrap as a compromise in talks with Greece. In this proposal are further austerity plans, which have been shown not to work and only damage the Greek economy.

The reasons for Greece's financial crisis and the bad situation of the Euro have multiple reasons, one being that though the countries in the Eurozone have one currency but different fiscal policies, which ultimately led to a discrepancy in financial capabilities in countries which are supposed to support a common idea and common cause.
Merkel's government has brought many policies into Germany which are opposing the European Ideal. She and Schäuble don't support the EU and are actively dismantling it.

TL;DR Schäuble is a fascist and Merkel is a Mitläufer

Okay, kurze Frage...
Was wäre deiner Meinung nach ein Weg aus dem Dilemma? Oder gibts keinen mehr?

Und noch was: Welchen Vorteil hat Deutschland denn, wenn Merkel und Schäuble die EU aktiv sabotieren?
