Is that an OC or a cannon character? I haven't watched since season 5. I need to.

It's definitely an OC.
You do need to see season 6. It's in mid-season hiatus but it's been pounding out top tier eps fairly consistantly, with a few mediocre ones in between. I still find myself listening to the songs from the Hearths Warming Musical episode. After the Hiatus ends... We immediately get an episode about fandom conventions. That's gonna be fun.

That's generally what the USA does, WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, even in the most recent, I think the only major conflicts the USA has properly gotten stuck in are the war of 1812, and the Civil war.

Sure, I suppose. I mean, once you ignore that war is more than just putting boots on the ground, then sure, why not. WWI was not really America's fight (In truth, AT MOST it should have been Serbia and Austria, but allies happened and things got big.), WWII America supplied the allies before and durring their direct military intervention, 'Nam and Korea were the 'west' stopping the 'east' in asia.

WWI resulted in an industrial boom for the USA, and WWII turned the country to a nuclear power, not trying to give any shit but the truth is the truth, the USA has a tendency to get sucked or to step into conflicts already deep in the shit, and then get prideful.
Honestly, I fear the day a proper enemy bomber goes over an american city, that means someone fucked up the whole fighting from the rear US strategy.
#347 - darkjack (07/03/2016) [-]
No? The Asian theater wasn't a 'fight from the rear' Neither was pushing through Italy, France, and Germany.

As in, the actual US land being on the frontline, it's still fighting from the rear when you spend most of the war watching, even the kiwis and Canadians got stuck in first.
#361 - darkjack (07/03/2016) [-]
Oh? Those 2 countries that have extremely close ties to england got stuck in first? Fancy that.

As to the US being on the front line, I'd be curious how it played out as well: eastern or western coast (probably western), + lots of pissy civilians with guns would make it irritating on both sides.
