I like your points, I was just talking about that with my friend the other day. I think when it comes to the majority not speaking up the problem is twofold. First, you have to look at the violence that the minority is using to keep down the good men and women that just want to go about their business as usual. We don't have problems exercising our free-speech (whereas Pakistan and similar nations do). Secondly, I think it's the media's fault that none of the imams like the one in this post are shown. It's both the threat of violence and the lack of coverage (of these imams) that is keeping the U.S. and other western countries ignorant to the happenings in the middle east. I agree with the application of force in certain areas of the community but the only problem I've got with that is finding those that need the force applied. Diplomacy and a fair amount of power-display can help mitigate the issue. It's a matter of how we go about doing it- which is an area I'm not educated in.

god for me is basically what you explained in your comment. However, God how he's well portrayed in Marvel is a completely omnipotent-scient-present-lingual.
It's always weird for me for the writers to have a character "God" to be beaten by his own creation that seems too silly.

Nothing, he doesn't exist in my opinion. But if I lived in a world with Dr.Manhattan, Thor, or Superman, it would be very silly of me to not think something more powerful existed.

I'm pretty sure Dr.Manhattan was called a god several times in both the movie and the book

That wiki article is definitely not accurate, it's leaving out a lot of things that could easily be considered terrorist. The boston bombing are a famous example, but also that guy who bombed a planned parenthood last month would be a common example. Just within the US.

And it's not my damn fault that the FBI don't keep their shit updated
#81 - danirblade (05/21/2016) [-]
im blaming you not for FBI disfunction, but for bringing information that is too old to count as relevant to today, you should seek out other sources

im using wiki (in the example) becaouse its unbiased, and mostly relevant

abount to boston bombing:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_terrorist_incidents,_January%E2%80%93June_2013
ive told you, they come in half-yearly form, this is 2013
