Well thing is i could also change my CPU, This is a stretch, but if i can get my hands on an Athlon 860k or Fx Hexa-core,How'd that do?,and for that matter, what else can i get? (Without switching to intel because i can't afford the MOBO atm.)

That would hardly be a worthy upgrade. You're better off saving your pennies till you can afford an LGA 1151 motherboard and going with at least an i5-6400 if it's for gaming.

You wouldn't get much out of that R7 360 or GTX 950 at all with those low end CPUs.

You can get the Athlon. The FX would require a new mobo.

How about that open source, huh AMD?

But yeah, it's weird. Cathatman did the same thing and bought a freesync monitor cause it was actually cheaper than a monitor with neither of the two. And who knows... maybe some time in the future FreeSync will be open for everyone to use. Cause it's funny how similar G- and FreeSync are, despite G-Sync needing a dedicated chip inside the mointor for it. It really just comes down to them using DisplayPort, which is what makes it possible. The extra bandwith being used for the GPU to send info about every time it's producing a new frame for the monitor to receive and adapt it's refreshes to.

That's a pretty damn good deal then. With Asus it's easy to see, the ones with a name starting with MG are FreeSync, and PG are G-Sync.
